Abstract: In a method of providing operating current to a portable electronic apparatus, a first connection terminal of the portable electronic apparatus is connected to a second connection terminal of a host, and interface type of the second connection terminal is determined. If the interface type is USB 2.0, the host provides a first operating current to the portable electronic apparatus for performing data read/write, and an internal rechargeable battery of the portable electronic apparatus provides a second operating current to the portable electronic apparatus. If the interface type is USB 3.0, the host provides a third operating current to the portable electronic apparatus for performing data read/write, and the third operating current selectively performs a charge process on the rechargeable battery. If the interface type is Wi-Fi, the rechargeable battery provides a fourth operating current to the portable electronic apparatus.

Abstract: A non-volatile memory device is configured to perform automatic boundary alignment between logical access units of a file system and physical access units of the non-volatile memory device. The file system of the non-volatile memory device is configured to include a partition having a system data area and a user data area which comprises a plurality of logical access units. The boundaries of the logical access units in the partition are aligned with the boundaries of physical access units of the non-volatile memory device. Unnecessary data access may be reduced without introducing an additional mapping table or re-formatting storage space in the partition.

Abstract: A multimedia system, a media player, and a method for generating a personalized streaming content are provided. The method includes following steps. A play habit of a user operation is recorded into a feature log in the media player. A download request is issued to at least one server through the Internet according to the feature log and a server list. A personalized streaming content corresponding to the play habit is downloaded from the server.

Abstract: A portable electronic apparatus capable of dynamically adjusting a charging current includes a memory unit, a memory controlling unit, a detecting unit, a current-adjusting unit and a rechargeable battery. The memory controlling unit is coupled to the memory unit for reading/writing the data of the memory unit. The detecting unit is coupled to the memory controlling unit for detecting the portable electronic apparatus to determine whether or not the portable electronic apparatus executes any operation, for example, reading/writing data or playing music and thereby generating a detection result. The current-adjusting unit is coupled to the detecting unit for correspondingly adjusting the charging current according to the detection result. The rechargeable battery is coupled to the current-adjusting unit for receiving the charging current for charging.

Abstract: A remote-dialing system and method thereof for saving call tolls, wherein the remote-dialing system comprises a first computer for executing a remote-dialing means and an Internet communicating means, a second computer for executing a controlling means and the Internet communicating means, and a telephone integrating device. The first computer and the second computer are connected to the Internet, and the telephone integrating device is connected to a public switched telephone network and further is connected to the second computer. Hence, through the transmission between the Internet and the public switched telephone network and the operation of the first computer, the second computer, and the telephone integrating device, people can dial a remote non-VoIP call without the Internet voice communication industries so as to save the call tolls.
