  • Publication number: 20090232060
Abstract: A method, a wireless communication system, a communication apparatus, and a tangible machine-readable medium for establishing a routing path during a network entry process of an SS based on a multi-hop relay standard are provided. The wireless communication system comprises a BS, an SS, and an RS. The SS transmits an RNG-REQ of the SS to the RS with a ranging CID. The RS allocates an SS CID for the SS, and transmits an RNG-RSP having the SS CID to the SS with the ranging CID. Then the SS transmits an SBC-REQ with the SS CID to the BS through the RS. Finally, the BS transmits an SBC-RSP to the SS through the RS after receiving the SBC-REQ. The routing path of the SS is updated into a routing table of the RS according to one of the SBC-REQ and the SBC-RSP.

  • Publication number: 20080108317
Abstract: A signal relay apparatus, method, application program, and computer readable medium adapted for wireless network are capable of saving power consumption due to failure of adjusting amplifying gain dynamically and solving the difficulty of demodulation since noise is also amplified during relay. For wireless access network, the present invention decreases the transmission power of mobile devices so that the battery of the mobile devices may keep working longer and the interference inside is reduced.

  • Patent number: 7218620
Abstract: System and method of simulating mobile communication by means of local area network are provided. After reset of simulation mobile station, the simulated mobile station is initialized for fetching a dynamic IP address from a simulated base station controller. It is determined whether there exists a simulated base station by receiving a broadcasting packet of the simulated base station. If yes, the simulated mobile station requests the simulated base station controller to obtain the dynamic IP address and establish a channel, and the simulated mobile station performs a certification procedure on the simulated base station. If the certification procedure is successful, the simulation mobile station enters into a link state for simulating mobile communication.

  • Publication number: 20070037539
Abstract: A method of suppressing co-channel interference in a wireless communication system, which computes the power intensities of coherent signals in different spatial orientations based on a result generated when the preamble of a main signal to be received by a wireless receiver is orthogonal to the preambles of interference signals, which are in co-channel with the main signal, so that the main signal can be separated for further processing. The wireless receiver finds an orientation relative to a wireless transmitter and notices the wireless transmitter the orientation such that the wireless transmitter can enhance a power intensity of the main signal and/or reduce the interference signals sent by interference sources.

  • Publication number: 20070036125
Abstract: A wireless communication system using channel access based on a contention approach and method thereof is disclosed, which allocates plural sets of time slots in a predetermined contention interval, wherein each set of time slots further includes plural adjacent overlapped time slots. A channel requester transmits a contention message to a channel allocator at a time slot based on an interleaved method after the channel requester completes count down of a predetermined time, so that the positions of the headers of the contention messages in the adjacent time slots of each set of time slot are different. Thus, if the contention message transmitted by the channel requester collides with the contention message of the adjacent time slot, the channel allocator can parse the headers of the collided contention messages and respectively allocate plural special channel times for communicating with the channel requesters.

  • Patent number: 6507736
Abstract: A multi-linguistic wireless spread spectrum narration service system includes a speech database, a plurality of basestation units, and at least one mobile unit. The speech database is stored with multi-linguistic narration service speech messages. The plurality of basestation units are arranged at each exhibition section of an exhibition field. Each basestation unit controller captures narration service speech messages from the speech database and a wireless communication is performed. The mobile unit controller is provided to be worn by a visitor. The mobile unit detects the wireless signals of a specific basestation unit. Thus, a synchronous or asynchronous connection is built through the spread spectrum radio frequency processing and baseband processing module. Therefore, the narration service speech message from the basestation unit is received.
