  • Patent number: 7338819
Abstract: A system and method for matching chip and package terminals and for packaging integrated circuits. Various aspects of the present invention may comprise receiving as input a first list of chip terminal identifiers and a second list of package terminal identifiers. The first and second lists may be analyzed with a first string-matching algorithm to determine a first set of matching pairs of chip terminals and package terminals. The first and second lists may also be analyzed with a second string-matching algorithm to determine a second set of matching pairs of chip terminals and package terminals. The first and second sets of matching pairs may be compared to identify common matching pairs between the first and second sets of matching pairs. An indication of the common matching pairs may then be output.

  • Publication number: 20070152405
Abstract: A seal includes an annular main member. A seal lip is projected inwards from the annular main member, wherein the seal lip has a tip and an outer inclined surface a plurality of helixes are projected from the outer inclined surface of the seal lip, each of which has a first extending section along a first direction and a second extending section along a second direction connected to the first extending section. The first extending section has a first free end and the second extending section has a second free end, and a junction of the first extending section and the second extending section is a turning point. A first angle is between each of the first directions and a corresponding tangent line of the tip, and a second angle is between each of the first direction and the second direction.

  • Publication number: 20070122299
Abstract: A valveless micro impedance pump including a bottom layer, a middle layer, a top layer and a piezoelectric element. The middle layer and the top layer are sealed to form the water inlets/outlets, flow way, upper and lower vibration membranes and boss of the micropump. The piezoelectric element is fixed on the boss and the fixing seat. By means of the electric field effect, the upper and lower vibration membranes are pushed by the piezoelectric element through the boss. The medium within the flow way is squeezed to flow toward the water inlets/outlets on two sides. The upper and lower vibration membranes have different structures. Also, the hardness of the fixing seat is different from the hardness of the bottom layer. This leads to difference in impedance. Therefore, the wave of the medium can be transmitted.

  • Publication number: 20070046926
Abstract: A fingerprint identification assembly includes a laminated lens having a first lens, a second lens and a third lens formed together with the first lens and the second lens, each of the first lens, the second lens and the third lens has a dielectric film coated thereon. At least one illuminator is located at a bottom of the laminated lens and a sensor located under the laminated lens for picking up an image of a fingerprint on top of the laminated lens. The dielectric film of the laminated lens allows light from the at least one illuminator to be partially reflected due to the fingerprint on the laminated lens and partially penetrates through the second lens and the third lens to be picked up by the sensor.

  • Publication number: 20070025576
Abstract: The present invention relates to a microphone with dual effects for enhancing the physical acoustic volume and for acquiring uni-directional acoustic source. The microphone applies the viewfinder theory of the telescope. The sound source at a designated direction is past from the front end of a hollow tube through the tube such that the sound generates resonance and focusing effects when passing through the tube. The microphone provided at the end of the tube is allowed to increase the volume acquired without using a passive amplifying circuit. A high ratio of sound at the designated direction can also be acquired.

  • Patent number: 4322296
Abstract: Wastewater is subjected to biological reaction in a bed containing the biological reaction bacteria on a particulate carrier wherein the lower portion of the bed is fluidized while the upper portion is maintained as a fixed bed. When the fixed bed portion becomes clogged with cellular material, the entire bed is fluidized and wash water is passed through the bed to remove excess cellular material. The method is applicable to advanced wastewater treatment, both secondary treatment for BOD removal, and tertiary treatment for nitrification and/or denitrification. The method is particularly advantageous for treatment of wastewater supplied at varying flow rates.

  • Patent number: 4157959
Abstract: Fine particulates are removed from fluids (gases or liquids) by beds of filter media operated as convertible (semifluidized) beds, wherein the fluidized portion of the bed progressively increases in size during the filtrations. The method has particular application to filtrations which are difficult to carry out by conventional filtrations methods.
