  • Patent number: 10918418
Abstract: Provided is a spinal implant which includes a compact housing usable in common regardless of a bone screw diameter and is good at assembling properties. A spinal implant includes a screw head holding member, a housing, and an insert. The screw head holding member includes a cylindrical section which is elastically deformable in the radial direction and which includes a support section that supports a screw head from a lower side. The housing accommodates the screw head holding member holding the screw head. The screw head holding member further includes an elastic deformable section which is elastically deformable in the radial direction of the cylindrical section so that an engagement section can engage with the inner circumferential surface of the housing.

  • Publication number: 20200173328
Abstract: A NOx storage reduction type catalyst is equipped in an exhaust passage of an internal combustion engine and purifies NOx in exhaust gas. An ozone supply device supplies ozone to an upstream of the catalyst in the exhaust passage. A NOx sensor is provided at a downstream of the catalyst and detects a NOx amount in exhaust gas. An ECU includes a NOx amount acquisition unit which acquires a detected NOx amount detected by the NOx sensor in a state where the internal combustion engine operates and where the ozone supply device supplies the ozone. The ECU further includes a control unit which performs at least one of an ozone supply amount control by the ozone supply device and an abnormality diagnosis of the ozone supply device based on the detected NOx amount acquired by the NOx amount acquisition unit.

  • Patent number: 9556775
Abstract: A reducing agent supplying device is for a fuel combustion system that includes a NOx purifying device with a reducing catalyst arranged in an exhaust passage to purify NOx contained in exhaust gas of an internal combustion engine. The reducing agent supplying device supplies a reducing agent into the exhaust passage at a position upstream of the reducing catalyst. The reducing agent supplying device includes a reforming portion and a reformation suppressing portion. The reforming portion reforms the reducing agent by partially oxidizing the reducing agent. When a temperature of the reducing agent is higher than a first specified temperature that is equal to or higher than an activation temperature of the reducing catalyst, the reformation suppressing portion (i) suppresses the degree of reformation of the reducing agent in comparison with when a temperature of the reducing agent is lower than the first specified temperature, or (ii) stops the reformation of the reducing agent.

  • Patent number: 9488082
Abstract: A reducing agent supplying device includes a reaction container, an ozone generator, an air pump, an ozone-containing air pipe, a compressed air pipe, a switching device, and a switching controller. The reaction container defines a reaction chamber therein in which a reducing agent is reformed. The ozone generator generates ozone from oxygen in air. The air pump supplies air into the ozone generator. An ozone-containing air flows through the ozone-containing air pipe toward the reaction chamber. A portion of a compressed air flows through the compressed air pipe toward the reaction chamber. The switching device switches between an air pump mode, in which the ozone-containing air is supplied into the reaction chamber, and a supercharging mode, in which the compressed air is supplied into the reaction chamber.

The reducing agent supplying device supplies a reducing agent into the exhaust passage upstream of the reducing catalyst. The reducing agent supplying device includes an air pipe, a vaporizing container, an injector, a heating member and a mixing plate. The air pipe defines an air passage therein. The vaporizing chamber is connected to the air pipe. The vaporizing container defines a vaporizing chamber therein that branches off from the air passage. The injector injects liquid hydrocarbon compound as a reducing agent. The heating member is disposed in the vaporizing chamber. The heating member heats and vaporizes the reducing agent. The mixing plate is connected to the heating member. The mixing plate extends from the vaporizing chamber into the air passage.

  • Patent number: 8756984
Abstract: In a condition where an engine is running, a fuel injector injects no fuel, and a fuel pump discharges no fuel so that a fuel pressure in a common-rail is kept constant, an ECU computes an actual torque based on a current engine speed and determines whether the actual torque is increased or decreased relative to a predetermined reference torque. Moreover, in the same condition as above, a fuel pressure in the common-rail is detected. Based on variations of the actual torque and the fuel pressure in the common-rail, the ECU determines whether an abnormality occurs and identifies a type of the abnormality.
