  • Patent number: 10865073
Abstract: A passenger conveyor includes a main frame, a support angle at an end in a longitudinal direction of the main frame and which is to be disposed on a building structure; and a support reinforcement part. The support reinforcement part includes a connection portion which is fixed to the support angle, a building-side extension portion which is extended from the connection portion along a floor face of the building structure, and a main-frame-side extension portion which is extended from the connection portion along an upper face of the main frame. In a case where the building-side extension portion of the support reinforcement part is in contact with the building structure, and the support angle is not in contact with the building structure, at least one portion of the main-frame-side extension portion is able to touch the upper face of the main frame.

  • Patent number: 10710844
Abstract: The chain stretch detection device is configured to detect a stretch of a chain in a power transmission device. The power transmission device includes: a driving sprocket; a driven sprocket; and a chain, which is wound around the driving sprocket and the driven sprocket, and is configured to transmit power of the driving sprocket to the driven sprocket. The chain stretch detection device includes: a meshing height measurement device configured to measure meshing heights of the chain in a range in which the driven sprocket meshes with and the chain; and a signal processing device configured to determine a height difference between adjacent rollers in the chain through use of signals acquired by the meshing height measurement device and estimate an amount of the stretch of the chain based on the determined height difference.

  • Publication number: 20080258332
Abstract: A manufacturing apparatus and a manufacturing method that can form in successive processes tooth-marks longitudinally at a regular pitch on the back side of a passenger-conveyor moving handrail. The manufacturing apparatus includes: a material feed port through which a thermoplastic resin is fed; a heater that heats the fed thermoplastic resin; a molding machine that extrusion-molds the thermoplastic resin having been fluidized; and a tooth-mark forming tool, which is a tooth-mark forming device, that forms tooth-marks longitudinally at a regular pitch on the back side of a preformed moving-handrail material having been extrusion-molded, while it is in a state in a plastically deformable temperature range.

  • Patent number: 5375115
Abstract: An optical disk apparatus in which a head is accommodated in a movable part which moves the head along a guide shaft in a radial direction of an optical disk. The guide shaft is engageable with the movable part and extends in the radial direction of the optical disk. The optical disk apparatus has a guide shaft compression mechanism which applies a compression force toward the movable part, which force is distributed, approximately uniformly, along the radial direction of the optical disk, to the guide shaft so that the movable part can be properly engaged with the guide shaft so as to move smoothly and stably along the guide shaft in the radial direction of the optical disk.

  • Patent number: 5278819
Abstract: A disk storage device includes a head part which writes data into a storage disk loaded into the disk storage device and reads data from the storage disk, a linear actuator moving the head part in radial directions of the storage disk, an eject member which is operated when the storage disk is ejected, and a movement mechanism which moves the storage disk to an eject portion in response to an operation of the eject member and which moves the storage disk to a read/write position. A lock part, which has a lock member cooperating with the movement mechanism, keeps, in response to the operation of the eject member, the head part stationary at the eject position by the lock member which engages with one of the head part and the linear actuator.
