  • Patent number: 6295937
Abstract: An intake/exhaust type combustion equipment capable of permitting oxygen in a proper amount required for stable combustion to be constantly fed to the combustion equipment, irrespective of outdoor air conditions. An intake air temperature detection sensor is arranged for detecting a temperature of combustion air fed to a burner by a combustion air feed fan and an oxygen data output element is arranged for outputting oxygen data corresponding to an oxygen concentration in combustion air depending on the temperature detected by the intake air temperature detection sensor. The oxygen data output element outputs oxygen data on the oxygen concentration or a variation in oxygen concentration based on the detected temperature.

  • Patent number: 6181741
Abstract: The back end position of a pulse, which is transmitted from a remote control, varies according to the transmission distance, and the pulse width changes. A remote control receiver of the present invention detects the pulse width of a header, which is formed at the head of each frame in a remote control signal from the remote control, so as to detect the transmission distance of the remote control signal and a change in back end position of each pulse in a data part, which is transmitted after the header. Then, the back end position of each pulse is corrected to original. This eliminates the change in pulse width resulting from a change in transmission distance, and increases the allowable range of the transmission distance of the remote control.

  • Patent number: 5759100
Abstract: A game machine controller according to the present invention is provided with a memory pack equipped with a nonvolatile memory. The memory pack is able to store a plurality of commands designated by a predetermined button operation as command programs. Once the data is stored, it is retained unless it is compulsorily rewritten or deleted. The command program stored in the memory pack is retrieved and executed by a simple operation of the command buttons. The memory pack can be attached and detached freely so that it can conform to each software. As a result, once the command programs are stored, there is no need to renew the command programs every time the game software is replaced.

  • Patent number: 5583492
Abstract: Maintenance information is collected by a sensor on an electric power cable installed in a manhole. The information is transmitted to a radio transmitter which is positioned in a vicinity of a bottom plane of an inner lid in an opening of the manhole. The information is transmitted by the radio transmitter, and received by a receiving antenna mounted on a bottom plane of the inner lid. On a top plane of the inner lid, an electrode, a connecting lead or a transmitting antenna is provided to be connected to the receiving antenna by an impedance matching circuit. The information is supplied to an outer lid in the opening of the manhole by the opening of the manhole by the electrode using a spatial coupling capacitance relative to the outer lid, or the connecting lead directly connected to the outer lid. Thus, the information is transmitted as a radio signal by the outer lid functioning as an antenna. Otherwise, the information is radiated below the outer lid by the transmitting antenna.

  • Patent number: 5413479
Abstract: A discharge-type ignition device for an oil burner capable of permitting ignition of a wick to be carried out at any optimum position of the wick which is fixed. First and second discharge electrodes are arranged in proximity to the wick when it is raised to a combustion position. An ignition switch is kept turned on in the course of upward movement of the wick for ignition, so that spark discharge is generated between the discharge electrodes toward the wick being raised. The wick is raised to an uppermost position beyond the combustion position every time when the ignition operation is carried out, so that ignition may take place at any optimum position of the wick.
