  • Patent number: 8430613
Abstract: A mandrel has an anti-dropping-off portion that is formed between a head and a breakable portion thereof. In the anti-dropping-off portion, a plurality of latching ridges is formed which have peaks that protrude outwardly in the radial direction and frictionally engage with the inner wall surface of a sleeve. The latching ridges are formed in the outer surface of the portion of the mandrel that is between the head and breakable portion thereof, so as to be diagonal relative to the circumferential direction of the outer surface of the mandrel and to cross each other, with the peaks thereof formed in a twill pattern protruding out from the outer surface of that mandrel portion.

  • Patent number: 7649448
Abstract: The invention provides a stop lamp lighting controller able to improve durability of a relay while unnecessary automatic turning on and off are avoided. A stop lamp is lit through a main line at a gentle braking time. At a sudden braking time, the stop lamp is switched on and off by disconnecting and connecting the main line in a predetermined period. At a breakdown time of the main line, the main line is switched to a subline and a lighting function of the stop lamp is secured. The main line is formed when both a first relay and a second relay are in a de-energizing state. The main line is disconnected and connected by periodically opening and closing the first relay. The main line is switched to the subline by energizing the second relay.

  • Patent number: 6781840
Abstract: Fastening members such as tapping screws and rivers having a shaft are used to fasten objects such as circuit elements, a circuit board and a casing to a target object such as a heat sink of a circuit unit. The target object has a uniform cross-sectional shape along a specified direction, having grooves formed over the entire length along this direction. The fastening members are passed through the objects to be fastened and inserted into these grooves perpendicularly to be affixed to the target object so as to fasten the objects to be fastened onto the target object.

  • Patent number: 4757781
Abstract: An apparatus for hot dip plating on one side of a metal strip, comprising a plurality of nozzles disposed at an oblique angle to the direction of travel of the strip and having outlets which are tilted toward the edges of the strip, whereby splashing of the plating material is avoided, and occurence of plating material on the non-plated side of the strip is also avoided, and the plating is regular and without irregularity of plating or areas lacking plating material.

  • Patent number: 4723205
Abstract: A microcomputer system has two central processing units, an original and one added to expand the system, each having an associated memory and being interconnected through an appropriate signal bus arrangement, however, only the first or original central processing unit employs an input/output device for inputting/outputting data; a bus controller and bus arbiter including a status signal generator are connected to the signal bus to provide addresses to permit the second or added central processing unit to be mapped onto the input/output address of the first central processing unit. The first central processing unit and its associated memory circuits and buses and the like then appear as peripherals with direct memory access from the viewpoint of the second or added central processing unit. A priority decoder is provided to insure that the first central processing unit has bus priority over the second central processing unit.

  • Patent number: 4707818
Abstract: Digital data consisting of different kinds of digital audio signals having sampling frequencies, numbers of quantization bits and the like that are different from those of the two-channel digital audio signals, display data, program data, and the like are recorded in the same signal format as that of the two-channel digital audio signals. A code signal representing either of the two-channel digital audio signals and the digital data is recorded and control data indicative of the linear velocity of the digital disc upon reproduction are inserted in every frame of the recording signal. One block of the digital data is formed by a predetermined amount of data and the same control data used for controlling the processing of the digital data is recorded at least twice in one block. The digital disc is rotated at a constant linear velocity on the basis of the control data upon reproduction.
