  • Publication number: 20160276793
Abstract: When a crimped structure of an electrical wire to a terminal is formed with an electrical wire crimped to a crimp terminal fitting, first, a coating on a leading end of the electrical wire is peeled off to expose core wires, and the leading ends of the core wires are processed into a conical shape so as to be tapered over the entire circumference to form a tapered part. Next, the electrical wire is arranged in an electrical wire barrel such that the core wires of the electrical wire with the coating peeled off are accommodated in a core wire barrel. At this time, a bottom of the conical shape on the leading ends of the core wires is adapted to be accommodated in the core wire barrel. The core wires are swaged by a crimping piece of a core wire crimping part.

  • Publication number: 20160254603
Abstract: An insulation sheath is stripped from the tip section of an electric wire, and the tip of the insulation sheath is worked into a conical shape along the entire circumference. During this work, the tip of the insulation sheath is cut such that the conical shape of the tip, where the insulation sheath has been stripped off, is inclined with respect to the axial direction of the insulation sheath. Next, an end part of the conical shape at the tip of the insulation sheath fits inside an insulation barrel. Subsequently, a crimping piece of the insulation barrel is placed between an upper crimping die and a lower crimping die of a terminal crimping machine, and the insulation barrel is crimped by the upper crimping die and the lower crimping die.

  • Patent number: 9281099
Abstract: An electric wire holding structure includes a plurality of electric wires each including a conductive part provided with a plurality of core wires and an insulating part covering the conductive part. The conductive part includes a rectangular conductive part which is formed at an end of the conductive part to have a rectangular outer shape in a section perpendicular to an extending direction of the electric wires. The rectangular conductive parts of the respective electric wires are bonded together by welding with ultrasonic vibration. The rectangular conductive parts of a plurality of the electric wires are piled in a brick laying manner to be bonded by welding.

  • Patent number: 9077088
Abstract: A fiber conductor wire structure includes a fiber conductor and a terminal. The fiber conductor has a first portion with an outer insulating resin and a second portion with an outer conductive metal. The second portion defines a knot. The terminal has a hole for inserting the fiber conductor. The hole has a receiving portion configured to receive the knot in locked engagement and electrical connection with the terminal. A connecting method for the fiber conductor wire includes forming a knot with a portion of a fiber conductor having an outer conductive metal, inserting the fiber conductor into a hole of a terminal, and pulling the fiber conductor through the hole to engage the knot with a receiving portion of the terminal to place the knot in locked engagement and electrical connection with the terminal.

  • Patent number: 8808022
Abstract: A connector structure includes a clamping terminal including a first terminal part and a second terminal part which project from a terminal base, and an insertion space which is formed between the first terminal part and the second terminal part. An insertion member is formed with a fixing slope part, which is inclined with respect to an insertion direction, at a front end part of the insertion member in the insertion direction. A conductor exposed from the circuit body is fixed to the fixing slope part. A connecting protrusion is formed on one of the first terminal part and the second terminal part. The connecting protrusion is formed with a connecting slope part which is inclined in accordance with the fixing slope part.
