  • Publication number: 20240177959
Abstract: It is aimed to provide a fuse element capable of interrupting an electrical circuit while suppressing the formation of carbide when an abnormal current is generated. A fuse element 10 is provided with an insulating base material 3 and a conductor layer 1 provided on a surface of the base material 3. The conductor layer 1 is physically ruptured at a temperature lower than a temperature, at which the conductor layer 1 is fused and cut, when the conductor layer 1 is energized and generates heat.

  • Patent number: 8581571
Abstract: Provided is a measurement apparatus that measures a characteristic of a filter, comprising a first transmission line that has the filter connected therein, the first transmission line receiving a multi-tone signal having signal components at a plurality of frequencies from an input end thereof, passing the multi-tone signal through the filter, and outputting the multi-tone signal from an output end thereof; a second transmission line that receives the multi-tone signal from an input end thereof, propagates the multi-tone signal therein, and outputs the multi-tone signal from an output end thereof; and a measuring section that calculates the characteristic of the filter based on the multi-tone signal output from the output end of the first transmission line and the multi-tone signal output from the output end of the second transmission line.

  • Patent number: 7160643
Abstract: A battery pack includes a plurality of batteries interlocked linearly through a connector. The connector includes an inner peripheral portion to be welded to one battery, and an outer peripheral portion, provided outside the inner peripheral portion, to be welded to the other battery. The inner peripheral portion and the outer peripheral portion have a step in between, and the step places the inner peripheral portion in a concave portion of the connector. The inner peripheral portion of the connector is located interiorly of a caulking convex strip provided at an end face of one battery, and an inner peripheral portion is connected to the battery end face through welding without coming in contact with the caulking convex strip. The outer peripheral portion is connected to an outer peripheral portion of a battery end face of the other battery through welding.

  • Patent number: 5416798
Abstract: The device of the present invention is used to measure the intensity of a disturbing wave and measures an average value of impulsive noise. The invention permits accurate and short-time measurements. Impulsive noise, which is input via a variable attenuator, a frequency converter, an intermediate-frequency amplifier and a band-pass filter of a 9 or 120 kHz pass frequency, is provided to a linear detector. The detected output is applied to a low-pass filter which is composed of CR elements and whose cut-off frequency is tens of kilohertz. By the low-pass filter, the peak value of the detected output is lowered and its width is increased. The filter output is converted by an A-D converter to a digital signal. Digital values at respective sample points in the digital signal of one frame are added by an arithmetic circuit, and the added value is divided by the number of samples to obtain an average value, which is displayed.
