    Abstract: A method controls of the amount of fuel, ignition timing and the amount of exhaust reflux recirculation during transient operations of an internal combustion engine such as acceleration and/or deceleration. In this method, the present data of the intake air flow rate or intake negative pressure and previously-derived data with respect thereto are utilized to control the amount of fuel to be injected based on an extrapolation or correction method.
