  • Patent number: 9886456
Abstract: A storage unit of a time-series data accumulation device of an embodiment stores statistical value data. A determination unit determines an interval function on the basis of data capacity, and a total amount of time elapsed from the beginning of measurement of a time-series data. A first calculation unit calculates an interval indicating an amount of time required to measure all the time-series data items constituting desired statistical value data on the basis of the determined interval function. A second calculation unit acquires all the time-series data items on the basis of the calculated interval, and thereafter calculates the statistical value on the basis of all the acquired time-series data items. A write unit writes the calculated statistical value to the storage unit as the statistical value data.

  • Patent number: 9687410
Abstract: A walking assistance device includes: a base body; a driving unit that moves the base body; a distance detection unit that detects a distance from the base body to a user; a safety distance range setting unit that set, as a safety distance range, a distance range from the base body to the user during safe walk of the user; a walking state determination unit that determines whether or not the distance detected by the distance detection unit is out of the safety distance range; and a control unit that controls the driving unit when the walking state determination unit determines that the distance is out of the safety distance range. The walking assistance device detects that the distance is narrower than a predetermined distance, wherein the driving unit is controlled when the approach determination unit detects that the distance is narrower than the predetermined distance.

  • Publication number: 20150348416
Abstract: An obstacle detection device (4A) which has cameras (12a, 12b) for detecting an obstacle, and notifies a user when the obstacle is detected by the cameras (12a, 12b). A reliability calculation unit (14) for calculating reliability of detection of the obstacle by the cameras (12a, 12b), a determination unit (15) for comparing the reliability which is calculated with a threshold and determining that the reliability has decreased when the reliability is less than or equal to the threshold, and a notification unit (20) for drawing attention of the user when the determination unit (15) determines that the reliability has decreased are provided therein.

  • Patent number: 7444217
Abstract: A configuration is provided in which detected torque values detected by a main torque sensor and a sub-torque sensor in such a state that a predetermined torque including zero is applied are captured, a calculation of a torque difference is repeated a plurality of number of times, an average value of an absolute value of a torque difference which is calculated each time is obtained, this average value is written to be stored in an EEPROM, and a threshold value used for the failure determination is corrected based on the stored value.
