Abstract: The present invention provides a packaging structure, which includes a plurality of dry analytical elements that are stacked on top of one another in a thickness direction; a packaging bag into which the dry analytical elements are placed and that is separable in two along a planar direction of the dry analytical elements; and protective sheets that are placed in between the dry analytical elements and that are each fixed, at one end, to one side of the packaging bag that is separable in two.

Abstract: An image information reading apparatus has an apparatus housing including in its front wall a cassette loading section which has first, second, third, and fourth loading regions, and a cassette placing section disposed immediately below the cassette loading section for placing a given number of cassettes therein. The operator of the image information reading apparatus temporarily places a given number of cassettes in the cassette placing section, and loads the cassettes, one by one, into the first, second, third, and fourth loading regions. No dedicated table for placing cassettes thereon is needed around the image information reading apparatus. The operator can handle the cassettes highly efficiently.

Abstract: An apparatus for feeding a sheet has a pair of suction cups movable into and out of a cassette, a displacing mechanism for displacing the suction cups between a position in the cassette and a sheet delivering mechanism to cause the suction cups to transfer a stimulable phosphor sheet from the cassette to the sheet delivering mechanism, and a piping system connecting the suction cups to a vacuum pump for attracting the stimulable phosphor sheet to the suction cups, and for ejecting air from the suction cups toward a surface to be attracted of the stimulable phosphor sheet when the suction cups are moved into the cassette. The stimulable phosphor sheet can smoothly and reliably be removed from the cassette while the suction cups are effectively prevented from being deformed.

Abstract: A lead character removing apparatus has a roller disposed in a cassette loading section and rotatable in a position where lead characters applied to a cassette pass, and a rotating mechanism for rotating the roller relatively to the cassette in a direction opposite to the direction in which the cassette is loaded, thereby to remove the lead characters off the cassette. Thus, the lead characters can easily and reliably be removed from the cassette with a simple arrangement.
