    Abstract: Specific parameters of each of the injectors of the injection device of a combustion engine, especially a device with pre-injection with electronic control of a diesel engine, are determined. The curve of the instantaneous speed difference (DVi) of the engine shaft between the time of transition to the combustion top dead center point of the cylinder in question and a subsequent time preceding the transition to the combustion top dead center point of the following cylinder is established as a function of the value of the parameter to be determined, the other parameters of functioning being kept constant. The optimum value of the parameter is determined which corresponds to an extremum of the curve.

    Abstract: A detection process and device for electronic injection control of a multicylinder engine of an automobile engine, which performs the functions of measuring the speed of rotation of the engine, pinpointing the angular position of the top dead center of each cylinder of the engine, and identifying at any time which one of the cylinders for which the injection of fuel is to take place. The device includes a multipolar ring provided with multiple north and south magnetic poles distributed alternately on the circumference of the ring; a pair of sensors sensitive to the magnetic field produced by the multipolar ring mounted facing the ring and spaced angularly from one another; and an electronic processing interface connected to the sensors to deliver signals to a computer for control of the electronic injection of the engine.

    Abstract: A detection device, for an injection pump of a motor vehicle engine, for measuring the speed of rotation of the engine, pinpointing angularly the top dead center corresponding to each cylinder of the engine and performing static timing of the injection pump. The device includes a multipolar ring of alternate polarity mounted on the rotation shaft of the pump inside the latter, the poles being grouped in a number of identical sectors corresponding to the number of cylinders of the engine; a sensor sensitive to magnetic field, mounted inside the pump opposite the ring; and an electronic processing interface connected, on the other hand, to the sensor, and on the other hand, to a computer for control of the electronic injection. The multipolar ring produces a varying magnetic field which is sensed by the sensor, and waveshaped and converted into a digital signal for application to a computer for control of electronic injection.

    Abstract: A device for the electronic control of an actuator, particularly for transmission dog clutches. The actuator is controlled by two double-acting cylinders, a translation cylinder and a rotation cylinder. Each of the cylinders is associated therewith a system for noting the position of each cylinder, a control system that provides a digital signal representative of the desired position of each cylinder, a digital comparator for producing an error signal as a difference between the desired position and then the actual position, and a digital regulator of the proportional and derivative type which produces an instruction signal to change corresponding solenoid valve. A microprocessor acts with the digital regulator to produce internal storage and programs.

The electronic circuit controls declutching and clutching to provide gradual controlled engaging of the clutch according to data relating to the engine speed and vehicle acceleration.
