  • Patent number: 6883508
Abstract: Method for controlling a primary current in an ignition coil of an internal combustion engine with controlled ignition, the current is established in an inductive primary circuit over a given conduction time. The conduction time is calculated by: predetermining the predetermined conduction time, carrying out at least one measurement of the current in the primary circuit at an instant lying in the last tenth of the predetermined conduction time; estimating the current at the end of the predetermined conduction time, as a function of the measurement(s) carried out; optionally correcting the conduction time for the ignition cycle during which the last current measurement was carried out, as a function of the previous estimate and the current desired at the end of the conduction time.

  • Publication number: 20040206344
Abstract: In a method for controlling a primary current in an ignition coil of an internal combustion engine with controlled ignition, the current is established in an inductive primary circuit over a given duration, referred to as the conduction time and determined by calculation and/or as a function of measurements carried out in the primary circuit.

  • Patent number: 6631954
Abstract: A vehicle seat has a back mounted to pivot on a seat proper by a locking mechanism, and urged forwards by a torsion bar formed by a metal wire which has two ends fixed respectively to the back and to the seat proper. The metal wire constituting the torsion bar forms at least one spiral comprising a plurality of adjacent turns.

  • Patent number: 6188224
Abstract: The diagnosis of an open-circuit fault or of a short-circuit in an ignition system is effected by performing asynchronous periodic extraction of samples of current in a switch. A check is made to ensure the satisfaction of certain temporal conditions in respect to a moment of extraction of the samples and comparing the samples, on the basis of that the temporal conditions are satisfied, with predetermined fault threshold values.

  • Patent number: 5979980
Abstract: This seat comprises a backrest armature (28) connected to a seat-part armature (22) by means (34) of articulation about an axis (X) substantially transverse to the seat. The backrest armature (28) carries a substantially transverse rod (56) for attaching a cover covering the backrest padding. This attachment rod, which runs close to the means (34) of articulation, has end extensions (60) forming protections intended to prevent a passenger sitting behind the seat from impacting against the means (34) of articulation. As a preference, each protective extension comprises a bow (60) curved around the axis (X) of articulation substantially parallel to a plane perpendicular to this axis.
