Abstract: The various embodiments described herein include methods, devices, and systems for presenting smart home information. In one aspect, a method includes: (1) determining that a first set of smart devices correspond to a first space of a plurality of spaces of a dwelling; (2) displaying a first user interface including: (a) displaying a first interface section corresponding to the first space; and (b) displaying, within the first interface section, a plurality of user interface objects corresponding to the first set of smart devices, where each user interface object of the plurality of user interface objects corresponds to a respective smart device of the first set of smart devices; (3) detecting a user selection of a particular user interface object; and (4) in response to detecting the user selection of the particular user interface object, displaying a second user interface that includes additional information regarding the corresponding smart device.

The method comprises obtaining alert events from smart devices at a physical location. The smart devices include a camera located at or in proximity to the physical location. The method further comprises displaying in a scrollable list a chronological sequence of camera event items. Each of the camera event items includes a thumbnail image, a time of the alert event, and one or more activity alert indicators corresponding to predefined activity alert types. The method further comprises receiving a user selection of a first thumbnail image corresponding to a first one of the camera event items, and responsive to the user selection, enabling playback of a video of a first alert event in a video player interface while maintaining display of the scrollable list.

Abstract: A computing device is associated with one or more electronic devices in a smart home environment. A current environment status is identified from a hierarchy of three or more alert levels of the smart home environment based on a combination of device states of a subset of electronic devices. The current environment status is indicated by an environment status indicator that is displayed in a display area of the computing device concurrently with device state icons corresponding to the device states of the subset of electronic devices. Further, based on the current environment status of the smart home environment, a feature sets is determined for a smart home application executable on the computing device for interacting with the smart home environment. The determined feature set includes selectable commands for performing device functions associated with the current environment status.
