    Abstract: [Problem] To provide a server monitoring device capable of grasping the state of a server more rapidly than conventional ones, and a server monitoring system. [Solution] This server monitoring device has a configuration in which a plurality of optical fibers are optically coupled to a plurality of light-emitting elements each showing the operating state of a server by a lighting mode, and the end surfaces of the plurality of optical fibers on the opposite side to the light-emitting elements are secured in a predetermined arrangement. An image of a light emission pattern of the end surfaces of the optical fibers is captured by a camera, and the image is transmitted to a monitoring person.

    Abstract: A tiling of multiple display panels having reduced seam widths (gap) therebetween using a plurality of single edge connect display panels, wherein for each display panel: interconnect lines in the lateral direction are formed on a front plate; input portions of the interconnect lines are routed on an area where a sealing portion is formed and are extended outwardly from the bottom edge of the display panel; the area where the sealing portion is formed is a non-display area of the display panel on the front plate that is bonded to a rear plate with a seal material; and the input portions routed the bottom side of the front plate are extended outwardly from the bottom edge of the rear plate. The input portions are formed in part on the rear plate and electrical connection is established by bonding the front plate and the rear plate via through holes.

    Abstract: A half-tone display system for a flat matrix type CRT, in which, in displaying video signals such as television signals, half-tone display of n gradations is effected for one field, the one-field scanning signal frequency is made m times as high, and the data signal is made to perform the half-tone display of n/m gradations during a 1/m field period. With such a half-tone display system, the scanning frequency is made different from an AC drive source's frequency, and therefore the displayed picture is free from undesired beat interference or flickering phenomonon. Thus, the displayed picture is steady at all times.

    Abstract: A flat matrix cathode-ray tube (CRT) in which the brightness of a display picture can be readily adjusted according to environmental brightness. In the flat matrix CRT, the grid electrodes are made up of the scanning electrodes and the data electrodes which form the matrix structure with the scanning electrodes, and the pulse voltage for gradations required are applied selectively to the scanning electrodes and the data electrodes so that the picture elements determined by the scanning electrodes and the data electrodes to which the pulse voltage are selectively applied are caused to emit light. Slots the number of which is determined in correspondence to the number of gradations selected, are provided either in the waveforms of the voltages applied to the scanning electrodes or in the waveforms of the voltages applied to the data electrodes in such a manner that the slots occur at regular intervals.
