Abstract: An online system obtains a composite prediction associated with a content item indicating a likelihood that a viewing user of the online system will perform a type of conversion associated with the content item via one or more paths of events leading to the type of conversion. The online system obtains the composite prediction based on a tree data structure describing the path(s) of events. Upon identifying an opportunity to present content to the viewing user, the online system identifies the tree data structure corresponding to the type of conversion from multiple tree data structures maintained in the online system and obtains a composite prediction associated with the content item by evaluating and performing operations associated with nodes of the tree data structure while traversing the nodes. The online system then determines whether to present the content item to the viewing user based on the composite prediction.

Abstract: A data synchronization method, system and apparatus are provided. The method includes receiving a request including data to be uploaded, from a client, and responding to the request after data is successfully obtained from the client, and storing the obtained data. For data whose size is less than a threshold value, a synchronization request is sent to a standby server to request the standby server to store the data. Otherwise a second type work log, including information indicating that data that has not been synchronized, is generated and stored. Data whose size is greater than or equal to the threshold value is not synchronized immediately, but is recorded in the work log. In some cases, data whose size is less than the threshold value, but fails to be synchronized, is recorded in the work log. Synchronization of this data may be subsequently completed according to the work log, so that the synchronization of this data can avoid affecting synchronization of other data.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus is provided for sending and receiving uplink control information, including: receiving, by a terminal, a first PDCCH and a second PDCCH that are sent by a network device, where the first PDCCH and the second PDCCH are transmitted in a same time unit, the first PDCCH indicates a first PUCCH resource and is used to schedule a first downlink TB, and the second PDCCH indicates a second PUCCH resource and is used to schedule a second downlink TB; and sending, by the terminal on the first PUCCH resource, response information of the first downlink TB and response information of the second downlink TB to the network device. When one PUCCH fails to be received, the network device may obtain the response information of the two downlink TBs from the other PUCCH, thereby ensuring that HARQ feedback information of the downlink TBs is correctly received.

Abstract: A data transceiving method includes: receiving a first reference signal transmitted on a subcarrier in a target physical resource block, and performing, according to a first mapping rule, corresponding processing on the first reference signal received from the subcarrier in the target physical resource block, where the first mapping rule defines at least mapping of the first reference signal to 10 specified subcarriers in a physical resource block, none of the 10 specified subcarriers are in a DC subcarrier candidate set, and the first reference signal includes a PCRS. In the embodiments of this application, only the 10 specified subcarriers in the physical resource block that are not used as DC subcarriers are selected to transmit the first reference signal, and no additional DC subcarrier is set. In this way, a quantity of downlink subcarriers in a system does not change dynamically.

The method includes: receiving downlink control information, where the downlink control information includes a first resource indication value n, a quantity of bits of the first resource indication value n is determined based on a first bandwidth part, and the downlink control information is used to schedule a data channel located in a second bandwidth part; determining a second resource indication value r based on the first resource indication value n, where r=?±a·n+b? or r=?a·n?, a is a positive number, and b is a positive integer; and determining, based on the second resource indication value r, a resource occupied by the data channel. Flexibility of scheduling a data channel by a network device can be improved in this manner.

Abstract: A solid electrolyte film for sulfide-based all-solid-state batteries, and more particularly a composition of a solid electrolyte, a binder, and a solvent used to manufacture a solid electrolyte film for sulfide-based all-solid-state batteries that is thin and has high ion conductivity. In particular, a solid electrolyte film composition for sulfide-based all-solid-state batteries including a solvent having a dielectric constant of x (1.5<x<3.0). The thickness of a solid electrolyte film for sulfide-based all-solid-state batteries manufactured using the solid electrolyte film composition is 60 ?m or less, and the solid electrolyte film is capable of being stably used for at least 1000 hours or more, and up to 2000 hours, based on the evaluation of Li plating and stripping.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to the field of communications technologies, and provide an information transmission method and apparatus, to flexibly set a quantity of subframes in subframe aggregation and a redundancy version based on a channel condition. The method includes: sending, by a first device, downlink control information to a second device, where the downlink control information includes subframe aggregation information, and the subframe aggregation information is used by the first device to indicate, to the second device, a quantity of subframes used in subframe aggregation and/or a redundancy version corresponding to at least one of subframes used in subframe aggregation; and receiving, by the first device, uplink information sent by the second device according to the downlink control information. The embodiments of the present disclosure are used for subframe aggregation.

Abstract: The present invention belongs to the field of medicaments and daily chemicals, and relates to use of cannabidiol or an cannabis extract in preparing a skin whitening product. Particularly, the present invention relates to use of any one of (1) to (2) below in preparing a drug or a reagent for inhibiting tyrosinase activity, inhibiting melanin formation or inhibiting melanocyte generation: (1) cannabidiol or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or ester thereof; and (2) a plant extract containing cannabidiol. The cannabidiol or the cannabis extract can effectively inhibit activity of tyrosinase, and has a good skin whitening effect.

Abstract: Various embodiments provide a method for receiving reference signal and a method for sending a reference signal. In those embodiments, a terminal device can determine a location of a resource element to which a reference signal is mapped. The terminal device can determine a reference signal sequence corresponding to the resource element. The index of each element in the reference signal sequence is determined based on a resource block index of a resource block corresponding to the resource element, a quantity of resource elements that carry the reference signal in the resource block, a resource block offset, or an inter-symbol offset. The terminal device can receive the reference signal by using the resource element, and performing channel estimation or channel sounding based on the received reference signal and the reference signal sequence. Therefore, the terminal device can complete channel estimation without learning of a system bandwidth.

Abstract: An online system optimizes for longer attribution window conversions with an additive decomposition model by predicting the probability that a predefined action happens given an impression/click. The online system receives a content item from a content provider for display to a target user, and predicts a probability that a target user will convert given an interaction with the content item by the target user. The online system computes, by a first trained model, a short-term conversion probability of a conversion event happening within a first conversion window after the interaction. The online system computes, by a second trained model, a long-term conversion probability of the a conversion event happening within a second conversion window after the interaction, the second conversion window being longer than the first conversion window. The online system computes the conversion probability given the interaction based on the short-term conversion probability and the long-term conversion probability.
