  • Publication number: 20090184941
Abstract: An image displaying device includes a housing accommodating a circuit board, a screen, and at least an optical trace detecting module. The optical trace detecting module has a light source and an image sensor for detecting movement of a user's finger thereon so as to generate and supply a corresponding moving signal to a micro control unit. The micro control unit generates a first control signal for adjusting or switching displayed images on the screen.

  • Publication number: 20090185698
Abstract: An audio device or system includes a housing which accommodates a circuit board having a micro control unit located within the housing, at least a speaker, and at least an optical trace detecting module coupled to the micro control unit. The optical trace detecting module at least has a light source and an image sensor for detecting a movement of a user's finger moving thereon so as to generate a corresponding moving signal, which is supplied to the micro control unit to cause the micro control unit to generate a control signal for adjusting a received audio signal. The micro control unit may be used in place of a rotary audio adjustment button or knob.

  • Publication number: 20070268263
Abstract: A light-indicating input device has a housing having a plurality of function keys and control keys, with the control keys being divided into a first group of control keys and a second group of control keys, with a first function key controlling the first group of control keys, and a second function key controlling the second group of control keys. The input device also includes a micro controller, and first and second light sources coupled to the micro controller, with the micro controller and the light sources located within the housing. Activation of the first function key causes the micro controller to illuminate the first light source to illuminate only the first group of control keys, and activation of the second function key causes the micro controller to illuminate the second light source to illuminate only the second group of control keys.

  • Publication number: 20050134555
Abstract: The present invention discloses a pointing device for communicating with a computer system. The pointing device includes a micro control unit and at least two acceleration sensors respectively located at a first position and a second position. The pointing device may further include a wireless transmitting module that can wirelessly transmit a cursor-moving signal sent from the MCU. When a user operates the pointing device, the MCU calculates the difference in accelerations sensed by the two acceleration sensors, and sends the cursor-moving signal to the computer system. The pointing device further provides a laser pointer for facilitating the indication of content on a projected screen.

  • Publication number: 20040075640
Abstract: An optical input device includes a floating board arranged to be moved by the user's finger and confined in an opening on the case of the input device. A sensor located within the case will detect the movement of the floating board as to generate a corresponding cursor-moving signal to a computer system. The present invention may be a closed system to eliminate contamination by the grease, dust from the ambient. Further, the present invention can avoid the harm to a user's hand or shoulder while moving merely by a finger.
