    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method and an apparatus for code reading of an ear tag, where a first signal from an ear tag can be acquired as an analog signal to obtain a second signal, and further the second signal that may be deformed is converted into a rectangular wave signal, fragmentation and compensation are performed on the rectangular wave signal according to a data structure, so as to obtain an accurate waveband, and after the compensated waveband is decoded and combined into target decoded data, accurate reading of the data can be realized. That is, in the embodiments of the present disclosure, even if a deformed signal is acquired, accurate target decoded data can still be restored based on conversion, fragmentation, and compensation, and in practice, comparing with a traditional way, it can be improved by about 40% in terms of distance.
