  • Patent number: 10006357
Abstract: A rotary engine including a compressor unit and an expander unit, a stator having cylindrical inner wall with intake and outlet ports, a hinged gate which fits into the stator inner wall, multiple sealing-strips being loosely embedded within the stator inner wall and backed by elastic force, an eccentrically rotating rotor with a freely rotatable rotor-sleeve which engages with the hinged gate while separating pressure and non-pressure area incident to the expansion and contraction of the working space, the above components being sandwiched between end-plates, perfect dynamic sealing without solid sliding friction, a gate-operated valve conducting the working fluid from the compressor unit into the expander unit via conduit ports in duly timing. The combination of the two units performs a full and extended power cycle simultaneously during each revolution of a common straight shaft.

  • Patent number: 9638186
Abstract: A rotary vane pump or rotary vane motor including a rotatable rotor being eccentrically arranged within a rotatable cylindrical housing sleeve defining a freely rotary working chamber which takes out the relative sliding movement and friction inside to outer housing bearing. A partition element of a vane hingedly attached to the rotor; wherein the partition element travels with the rotor following the orbit of the housing incident to the expansion and contraction of the working space performing as a true dynamic radial seal; The rotor assembly along with the housing assembly being sandwiched between end-plates to fulfill dynamic side seal; The end-plates may contain pressure and non-pressure ports as well as holes for shaft, bearings, brackets and mounting hardware.

  • Patent number: 9284947
Abstract: A windmill rotates on a vertical axis, with plural articulated working members circling around. Each working member has a pivotal edge like a vane, a flag or a hinged door, swings on its own axis and is also rotatable around the central axis. On the axis of each working member is furnished a joint controller to restrain the movement of each, flipping and engaging the favorable wind in about ¾ turn of the central axis but disengaging in the rest ¼ turn. The engagement of the controller is elastically releasable on excessive load or over-speeding, allowing the respective working member to skip the engaging temporarily during each rotation.

  • Publication number: 20140227094
Abstract: The present invention relates to a vertical axis windmill. The windmill rotates on an upright post, with plural arms holding articulated working members circling around. Each working member has a pivotal edge like a vane, a flag or a hinged door, swings on its own axis and also circles around the axis of the central post. On the axis of each working member furnished a special hinge bearing to control and restrain the movement of each, flipping and engaging the favorable wind in about ¾ turn of the central axis but disengaging in the rest ¼ turn. The said hinge bearing also provides elastic releasable means, along with a centrifugal governor, to deal with excessive wind, allowing the working member to disengage to a temporary idle position as a free weather vane.
