Abstract: A linker peptide for constructing a fusion protein. The linker peptide comprises a flexible peptide and a rigid peptide. The flexible peptide consists of one or more flexible units. The rigid peptide consists of one or more rigid units. The flexible unit comprises two or more amino acid residues selected from Gly, Ser, Ala, and Thr. The rigid unit comprises a human chorionic gonadotropin ?-subunit carboxy-terminal peptide (CTP) bearing a plurality of glycosylation sites. The linker peptide can more effectively eliminate mutual steric hindrance of two fusion molecules, decreasing a reduction/loss of polymerization or activity resulting from improper folding of an active protein or a conformational change. On the other hand, the negatively charged, highly sialylated CTP can resist renal clearance, further prolonging a half-life of a fused molecule and enhancing bioavailability of a fused protein.

Abstract: An electrical connector includes: an insulating base with a perforation; an insulating cover with a through hole and two slots recessed from a top surface, covered on and capable of sliding relative to the insulating base; a thrust member, disposed on the top surface of the insulating cover, has a body accommodated in the through hole, the body comprises an axial pushing hole, a plate portion respectively extending from two sides of the body and accommodated in the corresponding recessed slots; and a cam, having a driving portion above the body and a shaft extending downwards from the driving portion, at least one interference portion projects from a periphery at a lower end of the shaft and fixed near a bottom of the insulating base, the shaft passes through the axial pushing hole and the perforation.

Abstract: An electrical connector and a conductive member thereof are provided. In one embodiment of the present invention, the conductive member is installed in an insulating body, and a solder ball is retained between two retaining ends of the conductive member to form the electrical connector. In the conductive member, a base extends downwards to form two soldering arms, each of the soldering arms has an extending arm and a retaining end extending from the extending arm, the retaining ends are exposed outside the insulating body, and at least one of the retaining ends is provided with a recessed portion, so as to enable the solder ball, when entering between the two retaining ends, to prop the two retaining ends and partially enter the recessed portion, so that the solder ball is securely retained by the two retaining ends, thereby preventing the solder ball from falling off from the two retaining ends when the electrical connector is under an external force.
