  • Publication number: 20220218315
Abstract: A robot and a system for a medical operation of corona viruses e.g., COVID-19 sampling are provided. The robot includes a resilient connector, connecting plates connected with the resilient connector, stretchable and retractable assemblies, a driving assembly and a flexible sampling assembly; two ends of the stretchable and retractable assembly are respectively connected with adjacent two connecting plates, the stretchable and retractable assembly includes stretchable and retractable components divided into at least two stretchable and retractable groups and arranged around the resilient connector, the driving assembly drive the stretchable and retractable component to be switchably stretched or retracted, the flexible sampling assembly is configured to collect COVID-19 specimens of respiratory tract. The robot can be bent and moved freely in special-shaped human respiratory tract, realize secretions sampling of human respiratory tract and reduce pain and difficulty of examination.

  • Publication number: 20220218857
Abstract: A robot for atomization and disinfection is provided, which includes a robot body, an aerosol generator arranged outside the robot body for spraying aerosol mist particles into air, an aerosol concentration detector arranged outside the robot body for detecting an aerosol concentration in the air, and a main controller arranged inside the robot body and connected to the aerosol generator and the aerosol concentration detector for controlling a spray volume of the aerosol mist particles in real time according to the aerosol concentration after the aerosol generator sprays aerosol mist particles into the air. The aerosol concentration is dynamically monitored in real time, and the sterilization aerosol is supplemented in real time according to the concentration change, so as to maintain the stability of the concentration of the sterilization aerosol, improve the intelligence of space disinfection for epidemic prevention, and reduce the burden of manual disinfection.

  • Patent number: 11164351
Abstract: System, method, and media for an augmented reality interface for sensor applications. Machines making up a particular production or processing facility are instrumented with one or more sensors for monitoring their operation and status and labeled with machine-readable tags. When viewed by a technician through an augmented reality display, the machine-readable tags can be recognized using a computer-vision system and the associated machines can then be annotated with the relevant sensor and diagnostic data. The sensors may further form a mesh network in communication with a head-mounted display for an augmented reality system, eliminating the needs for centralized networking connections.

  • Patent number: 10560735
Abstract: Media, method and system for augmenting media through automotive motion. Embodiments of the invention broadly receive media control inputs from a user consuming media, determine a vehicle behavior corresponding to the media control input and, if it is feasible to do so, actuate one or more vehicle controls to implement a vehicle behavior corresponding to the media control input. For example, if the user navigates their in-game avatar left, the vehicle may implement a corresponding lane change to the left. Embodiments of the invention may also augment the presentation of the media based on the sensed conditions of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 10150351
Abstract: System, method and media for altering the mood of an occupant (such as a driver) of a vehicle. Reckless operation of motor vehicles by emotionally disturbed drivers is a major cause of traffic accidents just like alcohol, drug, and cell phone use. Emotional states such as annoyance, anger, anxiety, depression, and feeling hurried can significantly impair awareness by slowing observation and reaction times. Scents, both pleasant and unpleasant, have major effects on mood and sense of well-being. Accordingly, embodiments of the invention provide for an adaptive system which can detect a driver's mood, disperse an appropriate scent to improve the mood if it is unsafe, and learn the impact of scents on different users to effectively improve their moods.

  • Patent number: 10068620
Abstract: In order to affect the mood of a vehicle operator (for example, to increase attentiveness), embodiments of the invention automatically sequence appropriate audio cues into the sound playback from a vehicle's sound system. These cues represent events related to the vehicle or taking place in the vicinity of the vehicle, and can be modulated or effected so as to better convey the vehicle event. These cues may also be part of a coherent soundscape representing a fantasy scenario, such as motocross, sailing, or stand-up paddle boarding. Both the soundscape and the mapping of vehicle events to sound cues are configurable by the user.
