  • Patent number: 11704262
Abstract: A reconfigurable hardware platform uses, in place of a portion of software, a chain of reconfigurable hardware Operator Blocks to manipulate data as the data moves down the chain. This conveyor belt architecture, or chain of Operator Blocks, moves data from Operator Block to Operator Block. This conveyor belt architecture processor may be combined with a conventional front-end processor to process complex information or critical loops in hardware while processing a rest of a program as software.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 4, 2020
Date of Patent: July 18, 2023

  • Patent number: 9294896
Abstract: Methods, systems and devices, including computer programs, for creating, storing, formatting and sending video messages from one mobile device to another. A video message is recorded by camera element on a first mobile device. A recipient identifier associated with a second mobile device is logged by way of input by the sender. An alert is transmitted to the second mobile device by way of the identifier, thereby providing notification that the video message is ready to view and presenting a selectable screen object to activate the video message. The operating system of the second mobile device is determined, and the video message is formatted for viewing compatibility with that operating system. The video message is then uploaded to and played on the second mobile device. A reply message may similarly be sent from the second mobile device to the first mobile device, without the need to input a recipient identifier.

  • Publication number: 20150154651
Abstract: An exemplary embodiment of a streaming content delivery system and method may deliver one or more static, dynamic and video advertisements or other marketing and sales content items to recipient computing devices which include, for example, cell phones and tablets. Content providers may pay the system to stream their content items to recipients, and the system may pay the recipient each time the content item is interacted with by the recipient by way of, for example, the content item being displayed on the recipient's device or the recipient actively clicking on or near the content. For accounting purposes, in certain embodiments the system and method may keep track of what content item is played on which computing device, and a counter may be provided to inform the respective recipient how much money the recipient has earned as a result of having watched or otherwise interacting with the content item.

  • Publication number: 20060098467
Abstract: A voltage control device for connection to an electrical supply having an alternating supply voltage, and relative method for controlling voltage. The device comprising: an input (P1, P2, P3) having an input voltage, said input for connection to the electrical supply; an output (L1, L2, L3) having an output voltage; means for comparing the output voltage with a predetermined voltage (V1, V2, V3) and generating a comparison signal; means to adjust (THY1, THY2, THY3) the output voltage in response to the comparison signal, said means being connected to the input and output; whereby the output voltage is maintained substantially at the predetermined voltage. Preferably, the means to adjust the output voltage comprise means to delay the onset of the rise of output voltage within one half-cycle. More preferably, the means to delay comprises a thyristor module.
