  • Publication number: 20220082148
Abstract: Adjustable suspension for a bicycle, comprising a suspension body provided with a main fluid inlet and a fluid outlet, a piston disposed in the suspension body and comprising a piston head delimiting a first chamber and a second chamber, the first chamber being in fluid communication with the main fluid inlet, the piston being movable in translation in the suspension body between at least one first position in which the fluid outlet fluidly communicates with the second chamber but not with the first chamber, so as to deploy the piston, and at least one second position in which the fluid outlet is in fluid communication with the first chamber.

  • Publication number: 20220081061
Abstract: Adjustable suspension comprising a suspension body having a bottom, a piston disposed in the suspension body and comprising a piston head, the bottom and the piston head delimiting a main chamber inside said suspension body, the piston being movable in translation in the suspension body; and a fluid distribution device comprising a main fluid inlet configured to inject a fluid into the suspension and a fluid outlet, the piston being able to assume a first position in which the fluid distribution device is configured to bring the fluid injected through the main fluid inlet into the main chamber so as to deploy the piston and a second position in which the fluid distribution device is configured to guide the fluid injected through the main fluid inlet to the fluid outlet in order to evacuate the fluid out of the suspension.

  • Patent number: 10494052
Abstract: The invention relates to an adjustable-compression suspension kit for a wheeled vehicle, comprising a first suspension with adjustable compression (24), a second suspension with adjustable compression (26), an actuator device (32) for actuating the first and second suspensions, a first cable (34) connected to the actuator device and to the first suspension, a second cable (36) connected to the actuator device and to the second suspension; the actuator device (32) being configured to move the first cable (34) in a first direction while moving the second cable (36) in a second direction in order to increase compression of the first and second suspensions (24, 26). Characteristically, the actuator device is configured to move the first cable in the second direction while moving the second cable in the first direction, in order to reduce the compression of the first and second suspensions.

  • Patent number: 8348295
Abstract: A two-wheeled vehicle, in particular a bicycle, with a rear suspension that includes a front chassis supporting a bottom bracket wheel, and a rear oscillating assembly supporting a rear drive wheel. The rear oscillating assembly is attached to the front chassis by a shock-absorber system, a top pivoting link with two pivot points at top and bottom, and a bottom pivoting link with two pivot points at rear and front. The top and bottom pivot points connect the top pivoting link to the front chassis and to the rear oscillating assembly respectively. The rear and front pivot points connect the bottom pivoting link to the front chassis and to the rear oscillating assembly respectively. Thus, during the compression of the shock-absorber system, the top pivoting link oscillates in relation to the chassis, and about an axis that is perpendicular to the chain line.
