  • Patent number: 11904395
Abstract: There is a hand-held machine tool, in particular a saber saw, with a housing, a drive motor with an output shaft, a spindle for receiving a tool, in particular a saw blade, and a motion converter for converting a rotational motion of the drive shaft into a reciprocating motion of the spindle. The motion converter comprises an eccentric element driven by the output shaft rotationally about an axis of rotation with a driver part arranged eccentrically to the axis of rotation, and a pendulum element which is mounted pivotably about a bearing point and is connected via a coupling point to the spindle. The pendulum element has a guide element for guiding the driver part. In one embodiment, the guide element is arranged between the bearing point and coupling point.

  • Patent number: 8838547
Abstract: This description provides tools and techniques for Web-enabled database access tools. These tools may provide systems that include database access tools that provide at least one level of abstraction between external databases and users of the access tools. The systems may also include one or more internal databases maintained by the tool, with the internal database storing respective login information associated with the users. The login information may enable the users to access the tool without providing direct access to the external databases.

  • Patent number: 7848702
Abstract: An emergency system for providing an emergency function is described in which the system is required to provide an autonomous and self-diagnostic capability so the system can be tested when not in operation in an emergency situation. A plurality of emergency devices 14 are provided which have transmitters and receivers for producing a mesh network (FIG. 1). Each device 14 has a processor 60 for establishing a preferred wireless communication link of the mesh network to another device 14 for relaying signals and messages. The devices 14 are arranged in subnets 50 and the subnets are also grouped into groups of devices 14 which may cross various subnets 50 so that only one group of devices 14 can be tested at a particular time.
