    Abstract: A system and method for navigating an autonomous driving vehicle (ADV) that utilizes an-onboard computer and/or one or more ADV control system nodes in an ADV network platform. The on-board computer receives battery monitoring and management data concerning a battery stack. The on-board computer, utilizing a battery management system, determines the current state of charge (SOC) and other information concerning the battery stack and determines if the estimated total amount of electrical power required to navigate an ADV along a generated route to reach the predetermined destination is available. In response to determining that the ADV cannot reach the predetermined destination, the on-board computer automatically initiates a dynamic routing algorithm, which utilizes artificial intelligence, to generate alternative routes in an effort to find a route that the ADV can navigate to reach the destination utilizing the current state of charge (SOC) of the battery stack.

In one embodiment, a method is disclosed comprising identifying a suspect vehicle using at least one digital camera equipped on an autonomous vehicle; identifying a set of candidate autonomous vehicles; enabling, on each of the candidate autonomous vehicles, a search routine, the search routine instructing each respective autonomous vehicle to coordinate tracking of the suspect vehicle; recording, while tracking the suspect vehicle, a plurality of images of the suspect vehicle; periodically re-calibrating the search routines executed by the autonomous vehicles based on the plurality of images; and re-routing the autonomous vehicles based on the re-calibrated search routines.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for virtualized authentication device are described. A virtual device (such as a virtual machine) may be permitted to access secured data within a memory device by an authentication process. The memory device may generate cryptographic keys in portions of the memory device and assign the cryptographic keys to the virtual machines. The virtual machine may use an authentication process using the cryptographic keys to access the secure data in the memory device. The authentication process may include authenticating the identity of the virtual machine and the code operating on the virtual machine based upon comparing cryptographic keys received from the virtual machines to the assigned cryptographic keys in the partitions of the memory device. Once both the identity of the virtual machine is authenticated, the virtual machine may be permitted to access the secure data in the memory device.
