Device having sound effects and visual effects used as a toy

The present utility model relates to a toy device that generates sound effects and visual effects simultaneously. The device is composed of a melody/sound generator, the speaker of which is enclosed in a transparent shield with a few particles within it. When the diaphragm of the speaker vibrates it hits the particles and makes them bouncing up and down within the transparent shield, thus creating a brilliant visual effects as well.

[0001] The preset utility model relates to a melody/sound generator, in particular, a device having simultaneously sound effects and visual effects and used as a toy.

[0002] The prior art device having sound effects can generate melody or other sound effects, however, the merely belong to a single unitary sound effects, and gradually people have lost all interest in them Sometimes mechanical turning or moving components are to be added, but these components are often independent of the components generating sound effects, so that the construction of the overall device becomes rather complicated and when manufactured as a product, the weight of the product is heavier and the cost higher.

[0003] The object of the utility model is to provide a device used as a toy and having at the same time both sound effects and visual effects, and the visual effects result from the components that generates sound sound effects.

[0004] The object of the utility model is achieved in such a way: a transparent shield is provided on the speaker of the device that generates sound effects and is used as a toy, a number of the plastic particles being placed in the shield. The vibrating diaphragm hits the particles in the speaker enclosure, and makes the particles bouncing up and down, thus generates a visual effect. The height that a particle will bounce depends on the weight of the particle and the magnitude of vibration of the speaker diaphragm which, in turn, is a function of the speaker diameter and the frequency of the driving signal. If the diameter of the speaker is fixed, the speaker will resonate at certain frequencies. The closer to these frequencies, the higher the magnitude of vibration will result. the pre-programmed sounds, tones and melodies are arranged in such a way that the signal so generated will include the frequency components that will make the whole system resonate and produce a brilliant bouncing effect.

[0017] As illustrated in FIG. 1, the device having sound and visual effects used as a toy of the present utility model comprises: a melody/sound generator, a power amplifier, a speaker, a key pad, a power supply/battery set, a number of plastic particles and a transparent shield. The melody and sound signals generated by the melody/sound generator 6, after being amplified by the power amplifier 7 drive the speaker 3. The preprogrammed melody and sound stored in the melody/sound generator 6 are selected by the key 4. The power supply/battery set 5 supplies power to melody/sound generator 6 and power amplifier 7. The frequency components of the preprogrammed melody and sound in the melody/sound generator comprise a plurality of frequency components that will make the vibrating diaphragm of the speaker resonate. When the vibrating diaphragm of the speaker starts to vibrate, the plastic particles will bounce up and down within the transparent shield and produce a brilliant visual effect. Said plastic particles can be bubbling gum particles or luminous bubbling gum particles, and said transparent shield can be transparent plastic shield.

[0018] FIG. 2 is a schematic structural view of the present utility model, comprising a transparent shield 1, a number of plastic particles 2, a speaker 3, four keys 4, shield. The functions and linking relations of the other elements are shown in FIG. 1.

[0019] The device having sound effects and visual effects used as a toy of the present utility model gives out visual effects on the bases of those components which generates sound effects thus avoiding setting up another independent component to generate visual effects, so as to overcome the deficiencies existing in the prior arts, thus to make the whole device lighter in weight, smaller in volume, lower in cost and having many apparent efficiencies.

Claims

1. A device having sound effects and visual effects used as a toy characterized in that on the speaker that generates sound effects there is a transparent shield (1), and in this transparent shield there are a plurality of plastic particles (2): the frequency components of the pre-programmed melody and sound in the melody/sound generator (6) that generates sound effects comprise a number of frequency components.

2. The device having sound effects and visual effects used as a toy according to claim 1, characterized in that said transparent shield (1) is a transparent plastic shield.

3. The device having sound effects and visual effects used as a toy according to claim 1 characterized in that said plastic particles (2) are bubbling gum particles.

4. The device having sound effects and visual effects used as a toy according to claim 3, characterized in that said bubbling gum particles are luminous bubbling gum particles.
