DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0013] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 3 and FIGS. 5 to 8, a first chair adjustment device comprises a U-shaped frame 1, a first connection plate 3 disposed on a first side of the U-shaped frame 1, a second connection plate 3a disposed on a second side of the U-shaped frame 1, a first driven block 4 covering the first connection plate 3, and a second driven block 18 covering the second connection plate 3a.

[0014] The first connection plate 3 has a first round hole 14, a first circular aperture 12, and a second circular aperture 17.

[0015] The second connection plate 3a has a second round hole 14a.

[0016] The first driven block 4 has a through hole 2, a protruded bar 5, and a protrusion 6.

[0017] The second driven block 18 has a through aperture 16.

[0018] A shaft 15 passes through the through aperture 16 of the second driven block 18, the second round hole 14a of the second connection plate 3a, the first round hole 14 of the first connection plate 3, and the through hole 2 of the first driven block 4.

[0019] A click gear 7 is disposed in the first driven block 4.

[0020] A click pawl 8 has a first round aperture 9 and a second round aperture 11.

[0021] A compression spring 10 has a first end 101 inserted in the circular aperture 17 of the first connection plate 3 and a second end 102 inserted in the first round aperture 9 of the click pawl 8.

[0022] A rivet 13 passes through the first circular aperture 12 of the first connection plate 3 and the second round aperture 11 of the click pawl 8 to fasten the first connection plate 3 and the click pawl 8 together.

[0023] The click pawl 8 engages with the click gear 7.

[0024] The U-shaped frame 1 is connected to a chair support frame 30 in a chair.

[0025] The first chair adjustment device is a headpiece adjustment device 19.

[0026] Referring to FIGS. 5 to 7 again, the click pawl 8 moves from the protruded bar 5 to the click gear 7.

[0027] Referring to FIG. 8 again, the click pawl 8 disengages from the click gear 7 and engages with the protrusion 6.
