Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[0001] The present invention relates to a set of wheels provided in shoes for both walking and skating, particularly to a set of self-active wheels.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0002] Chinese Patent ZL95223216 disclosed a kind of set of wheels for both walking and skating, which are provided in the trough of the sole of a shoe. As shown in FIG. 1, it consists of two wheels 1, a wheel stand 2, a locking apparatus and a shell body 6. The wheel 1 is connected with the wheel stand 2 which is sleeved outside a turning gear 3 provided with the bottom of the shell body 6. The matching surface between the wheel stand 2 and the shell body 6 is formed by a part of arc and two tangent planes, thus the locking apparatus can be provided in the shell body 6. Using the set of wheels of prior art, the shoes can be used for both walking and skating. However, the operating for locating and turning the wheels is so complex that nut 5 of the locking apparatus and press plate 4 are needed to be relaxed firstly in order to place the wheel stand 2 in a suitable position; then, the nut 5 is needed to be tighten up again to fix the wheel stand 2.

[0003] Chinese Patent ZL99242181 disclosed an improved set of wheels provided in the sole of shoes for both walking and skating. As shown in FIG. 2, it consists of a wheel 6′, a spindle 5′, a turning bar 7′, a turning gear 2′, stand 3′ and a base frame 1′. A flange is provided on the turning bar 7′ and a inclined plane is provided on the stand 3′. The turning bar 7′ is connected with the stand 3′ by a screw. To locate the wheels under the position in store to be used for walking or under the position in operation for skating, it is necessary to push or pull the wheels to a precalculated position by hand. The disadvantage of this kind of set of wheels of prior art is that the operation for locating the wheel 6′ either from the status of walking to skating or from skating to walking is quite complex, as the wheel 6′ cannot be operated self-actively.

DETAIL DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

[0038] A preferred embodiment of the present invention is shown in FIG. 3 to FIG. 5. A set of self-active wheels of the present invention includes a wheel 10 with ball-bearing; a spindle 20; a turning bar 30; a composite turning gear 40; a base frame 50; a pinboard 60; a plug pin 70; a torsion bar spring 80; a spring 90 and a button 100.

[0039] In the preferred embodiment, wheel 10 has two ball-bearing which are jointed with a spindle 20 and provided respectively on each side of the turning bar 30. Two holes 33 and 34 are provided in each end of the turning bar 30, one of which, such as hole 33, is used for being penetrated by the spindle 20. A nut 101 is provided on the end of the spindle 20 and thus wheel 10 can be fastened.

[0040] A base frame 50 is installed in the sole of a shoe, which comprises two stands 51 arranged by a pre-determined distance and provided a hole 511 and 512 respectively. the hole 34 provided the other end of the turning bar 30 is located between two stands 51 and aligned with holes 511 and 512. A composite turning gear 40 is thus crossed through the hole 34 of the turning bar 30 and the holes 511 and 512 on the two stands 51. The composite turning gear 40 is composed of a sleeve 42 of which external diameter is provided with a torsion bar spring 80 and a rotating shaft 41 which can be rotated around its axis. One end of the shaft 41 is connected with a button 100 in manner of threaded connection after being penetrated a pinboard 60 with a plug pin 70, a shield ring for fixing the axial position of the pinboard, the sleeve 42, the holes 511 and 512 on the stands 51 and a spring 90 in turn.

[0041] The hole 512 is provided with internal thread for in conjunction with an external thread on one end of sleeve 42 penetrated from the hole 511 on the stand 51 and the hole 34 in the turning bar 30, therefore the turning bar 30 can be turned around the composite turning gear 40.

[0042] One torsion bar of the torsion bar spring 80 is inserted into a small hole of the turning bar 30 and the other is located on the base frame 50. The turning bar 30 will be turned around the sleeve 42 and reset by a restoring force produced by the torsion bar spring 80.

[0043] A hole 61 provided on the pinboad 60 is used for fixing up the plug pin 70 which can be used to locate the wheel 10 while walking and skating. In order to insert the plug pin 70, holes 510 are provided on each of stands 51 respectively, and two location holes 31 and 32 are provided on the end of the turning bar 30. While the plug pin 70 is crossed through location hole 31 and the holes 510 on two stands 51, it can locate the wheel 10 under the status in store to be used for walking; while the plug pin 70 is crossed through hole 32 instead, it can locate the wheel 10 under the status in operting to be used for skating.

[0044] In order to adjust spring force of spring 90 and prevent the button 100 from relaxing, a nut 102 is provided between the button 100 and the spring 90.

[0045] When the wheel 10 is located in the horizon position under the status in store, the plug pin 70 is plugged in the hole 31 of the turning bar 30 through the hole 510 of the stands by the spring force of the spring 90, as a result, the wheels 10 is located accurately. When pressing the button 100 penetrated from a side of the sole, the plug pin 70 is disengaged from the hole 31 and the turning bar 30 is turned up self-actively by the restoring force of the torsion bar spring 80. When the plug pin 70 is plugged in the hole 32 of the turning bar 30 by the spring force of the spring 90, as a result, the wheel 10 is located precisely and firmly in the vertical position by two flanges of the turning bar 30 being leaned against the two inclined planes of the stand 51 to be used for skating.

[0046] Another preferred embodiment of the present invention is shown in FIG. 6, the wheel 10 according to the present invention has a single ball-bearing, the turning bar 30 is designed into a crotch, and others parts of it is as the same as the first embodiment.

[0047] While the present invention has been described with reference to the above preferred embodiments, it should be understood that various changes and modifications could be made by ordinary technical personals skilled in the art without departing from the protection scope of the appended claims.
