Abstract

The present invention relates to a box for storing golf balls and practicing putting, which can be used to store golf balls and related accessories such as tees, and the box is composed of an upper casing and a lower casing each having a handle on it. In the lower casing, it has an appropriate accommodation space, and a supporting member being disposed at an appropriate location on the edge of the lower casing and extending towards the accommodation space. Further, the upper casing has a concave surface being disposed at the corresponsive side of the lower casing, and a groove hole being disposed in the concave surface and extended outwards. A passage is disposed at the edge of the concave surface extending outwards and is corresponsive to the supporting member. When such box is in use, golf balls and accessories can be stored in the accommodation space, which is very convenient for the user to carry and access. In addition, when the upper casing of the box is turned upside down, the concave surface of the box faces upward allowing the user to practice putting.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0002] The present invention relates to a box for storing golf ball and practicing putting, and particularly to a box for storing golf balls and related accessories, and after opening the box and turning the upper casing of the box upside down, the user can use it for putting practice.

[0004] Generally, the conventional golf balls are sold in a circular cylindrical package, and the internal diameter of the cylindrical package is slightly larger than the diameter of the golf ball, so that the golf balls can be stored and stacked one on top of the other in the cylinder. However, such package is in cylindrical form, and has no handle structure for the user to hold, thus it is inconvenient to carry such package. Furthermore, when the golf balls are exhausted, we will throw away the package and cannot use it for other purpose.

[0005] In view of the shortcomings of the traditional package for storing golf balls, which is inconvenient to carry, and only be used for storing golf balls, therefore the inventor of the present invention has been thinking of a way to improve such shortcomings, and provides a reasonable solution by performing a series of researches and developments, and finally succeeds to invent a box for storing golf balls and related accessories which is easy to carry.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0006] The main objective of this invention is to provide a box for storing golf ball and practicing putting and such box is composed of an upper casing and a lower casing, wherein the lower casing has a handle on it, and an accommodation space of appropriate area. Additionally, there is a handle on the surface of the upper casing, and when such box is in use, golf balls and accessories can be stored in the accommodation space, and the upper casing and lower casing be coupled to each other, such that the box is convenient for the user to carry, and all you need to do is just open the upper casing for access.

[0007] Another objective of the present invention is to provide a box for storing golf balls and practicing putting, and a concave surface is disposed on the corresponding surface of the upper casing and the lower casing, and such concave surface has a groove hole extending outwards, and the edge of the concave surface has a passage extending outwards which is corresponsive to the support member. When it is in use, the user turns the upper casing upside down and makes the passage to face the user. It serves as the lawn and golf hole for practicing putting.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

A box for storing golf ball and practicing putting according to the present invention is a box used to store golf balls and related accessories such as tees, and such box 10 is composed of the upper casing 30 and lower casing 20 with handles on it. The present embodiment is a polygonal box (however, the skill in the art can easily replace it by other shape), wherein the lower casing 20 has a lower handle 21 and such lower handle 21 is in a curved shape. Both ends of the lower handle are fixed onto the lower casing 20, and the lower casing 20 has an accommodation space 22 of appropriate area. A supporting member 23 being extended towards the accommodation space 22 is disposed at an appropriate position on the edge of the lower casing 20. The embodiment of the present invention uses a substantially rectangular hollow frame (however, the skill in the arts can easily substitute it by a frame of other shape). The height of the supporting member 23 is higher than that of the lower casing 20.

[0014] Furthermore, the upper casing 30 also has a upper handle 31 to work together with the lower handle 21, and such upper handle 31 being coupled to the lower handle 21 to form a handle for the user to hold, and a concave surface 32 being disposed at the corresponsive sides of the upper casing 30 and the lower casing 20, and the present embodiment makes use of a circular concave surface. A groove hole 33 is disposed in the concave surface 32 and extended outwards, and a passage 34 is disposed at the edge of the concave surface 32 extending outwards and is corresponsive to the supporting member 23. The passage is tapered from the connected end with the concave surface towards the free end, such that when the upper casing 30 is covered onto the lower casing 20, the passage 34 is prevented from being depressed inwards by means of the support by the support member 23.

When using the box, we can store golf balls and related accessories (such as tee) into the accommodation space 22 of the lower casing 20, and then tightly cover the upper casing 30 onto the lower casing 20, and align the lower handle 21 and the upper handle 31 to couple them with each other. Such arrangement enables the user to easily store the golf balls and accessories in the box, and makes it portable and easy for the user to carry by providing a handle that is composed of the lower handle 21 and the upper handle 31.

When the user wants to practice putting, he/she should detach the upper casing 30 from the lower casing 20, and take the upper casing 30 to a certain distance away from the user. Then turn the concave surface 32 of the upper casing 30 to face upward, and the passage 34 to face the user, so that the groove hole 33 of the concave surface 32 and the passage 34 acts as the passage and golf hole for practicing putting.

Claims

1. A box for storing golf balls and practicing putting, comprising an upper casing corresponding in shape with a lower casing; wherein the lower casing has a lower handle, and the lower casing has an accommodation space with appropriate area;

the upper casing has an upper handle which totally fits into the lower handle to form a handle for users to carry, and the upper casing has a concave surface corresponsive to the lower casing, such concave surface could be a circular concave surface as an embodiment, and said concave surface has a groove hole being extended outwards, and the edge of the concave surface has a passage which extends outwards and is corresponsive to a supporting member, and said passage being tapered from the connected end with the concave surface towards the free end;

wherein, when the box is in use, the golf ball and accessories can be stored in the accommodation space to facilitate users to carry and access, and it can be turned upside down such that the concave surface of the upper casing faces upward to let users practice with putting.

A box for storing golf balls and practicing putting as claimed in claim 1, wherein the lower casing has a support member corresponsive to the passage, such that when the upper casing and the lower casing being coupled together, the passage prevents it from being depressed inwards by means of the support by the support member.
