Abstract

(FIGS. 1, 2, 3) as the second belonging important thing to parts of women clothes i.e. trousers thanks to its form and possibility of choice of user function, it characterizes preventive protection from attempt of violent sexual act. At first, thanks to its extent different heads which are put into appropriate function of button shaft with procedure of ROTATING and in the way it is determined will the MOVE OF UNBUTTONING as an “action condition” for a violent sexual act is being made as a SIMPLE MOVEMENT it will demand a definite OPPOSITE ACTION OF TURNING OUT, which could be temporarily absolutely extended neutralized with body resistance in a form of minimum body movements. TWO-HEADED RAPE PROTECTION BUTTON presents a useful mechanical means which is for partly protection for a person from dificult injuries of body and essence, made from eventualy act of tyring a sexual violent attempt i.e. raping.

Description

TEHNICAL FIELD

[0001] This invention refers to the button which by its primary function of trousers keeper, in definite procedure, and all thanks to its form, with primary function to serve in tehnical condition like before as means for buttoning up and keeping trousers, it might have the secondary function of partly protection of trying some kind of sexsual violation (e.g. rape).

[0002] Raping as an accomplished fact or as trying action is one of big threats to women as the most risky kind and it is big problem of today. All known forms of defence from trying sexsual attack up to now are attempt of selfdefence by using different means to rid of threat and physical defence.

[0003] The solution of problem in relation “attacker-victim” is contained in basic principle: using invention because of protection in normal conditions in short and simple procedure of button putting to safe, preventive position, to make perfect protection for a person in the way to complicate the opposite procedure of buttoning in abnormal conditions

[0004] Every person who the button belongs to, together with the “main object” i.e. truosers as main clothing, with person's position of choosing and the button's function has possibility of adaption her own protection in accordance with risk of life situations in which she is at the moment or she will be as with risk of places which are in short connection with raping (like street, park, hitchhiking, driving by night etc).

[0005] The way of protection's realizing is using the secondary function of button, with its using, as opposed to knovn means of today, a simple MOVEMENT of unbuttoning changes itself into an ACTION for which we need much bigger effort as different conditions.

BACKGROUND ART

[0006] The person who takes an action doesn't know a fact of technology today that similar means exist, which could have the additional function beside its basic function Buttons which are used in textile industry today have only one function: to serve only as “trouser's keepers” and they have characteristics to put in function (to button up) with simple movement, that provides, with position of trying violent attack and its obviously defect—and they are out of function with simple movement (e.g.unbuttoned) and because of that the posibility of direct affection to body is opened.

[0007] The patent document ES261738U describes a two-part button for articles of clothing, consisting of a shaft and a body. The key of the technical solution contained in the patent claim is a screw junction between the shaft and button body, which offers easy way of connecting and disconnecting the button, without the need for any sewing devices. Button shaft is constructed as a screw with a flat head and a body with a thread ending in a spike. Button body is spool-shaped, with a bigger upper disc making the head of the button, and a smaller lower disc making its foot. They are connected with he neck cylindrical part of the button. There is a blind hole with a thread in the centre of the body of the button, the beginning of which is in the foot and the end in the neck cylindrical part of the button. Button body is linked to the shaft so that the spiked top of the shaft pierces the layer of the garment it is attached to, until the head of the shaft leans onto the pierced part of the garment. The button body, which presses the other side of the garment layer with its foot, is screwed onto the button shaft pierced through the fabric.

[0008] The two-part button described fulfils the same purposes as any single-part button known, intended for quick connecting and disconnecting two garment parts by slipping a circular button head through a straight nonextensible slit on the upper part of the garment. Slit length should be measured so that the circular head of the button described can pass through it. Some other methods of constructing and applying two-part buttons not described in the patent document ES261738U.

DISCLOSURE OF INVENTION

[0009] From cognition that is serves like thing of second importance for trousers as clothes and thanks to its form and procedure of making usable, this invention with basic role of simple button in predicted way of application get an additional characteristic by changing itself into partly protectable means from trying of some violations.

[0010] Two-headed rape protection button have two functions that are the result of two different procedures of usage:

[0013] We can see its basic function to serve as the simple button for trousers 6,7 by this way of usage. Two-headed button's body is put into position A with a rolling procedure: a big head 2 is closer to body; a small head 1 further from body to button's shaft with thread 4 which is fixed with a pin 5 (fastener).

[0014] Small two-headed button's head 1 can be easily pushed through a small hole 8 on trousers 7 which is provided clasping, while big two-headed button's head 2 stay invisible because of folding over reinforced trouser's borders.

[0017] We can see the secondary function of this invention by this way of usage that by basic function gets a function of means for partly prevention for sexsual violation.

[0018] By turning out two-headed rape protection button from primay position A, button's body -3, together with heads 1 and 2 is separated from button's shaft with thread 4, that serves for reinforcement on border of trousers 6 fixsed with a pin or fastener 5 then small head 1 will be pushed through a small hole 8 on trousers 7 and after that with he repeated procedure of rotating into button's shaft 4, put together its basic and protective function. With this choice of function and predicted procedure we have situation that big head 2 cannot be pushed by simple movement through an eyelet 8 on trousers 7 predicted for clasping and as that serves like button's shaft and like a button with function for protection. Because of the fact avery violent attempt of turning out two-headed button from button's shaft 4 when it's in a position B it demands obliged two hands usage in every situation of violence “one to one” and wider, the usage of this function can make positive consequences in wiev of victim:

[0020] it can be an important cause of eventual giving up of intention from carrying out a violent saxsual act, even if hand are tied;

[0021] it enables to victim free hands and gives her possibility to defend with an active resistance , as with another handy means;

[0022] with active resistance it proceedes the time till the final two-headed rape protection button putting out of function and possible action to body;

[0023] with assumption of existence of conscious situation, it enables to victim that with minimum of movements of the whole body to neutralize a difference of physical strength, partly and resists to invention of raper in trying to turn out the button as to “condition's action” for doing a violent sexsual act.

[0024] The double-purpose button, according to the invention, to be used as a conventional button for quick connecting and disconnecting two garment parts and as a safety button for making connecting and disconnecting of two garment parts more difficult, differs considerable in its design from the button described in the patent document ES261738U. According to the invention, a passing hole with a thread is made in the centre of the button body, passing through the smaller head 1, big head 2 and neck part 3. Button body can be screwed onto the shaft 4, which is fastened with a pin 5 onto the lower part of the garment 6, with the big button head 2 turned towards the button shaft 4, as shown in FIG. 1, or with the smaller head 1 turned towards the button shaft 4, as shown in FIG. 2. The length of the straight nonextensible slit 8 in the upper part of the garment 7 should be such as to allow the smaller head of the button 1 to pass through the slit 8, while the bigger head 2 cannot be passed through the slit 8. The passing hole with a thread in the button body and dimensional relationship of the smaller and bigger head and the slit in the upper part of the garment make the double-purpose button, described in this invention, principally different from the single-purpose button described in the patent document ES261738U.

A DESCRIPTION OF THE WAY OF USAGE AND REALIZATION OF THE INVENTION

[0034] The way of realization of the invention becomes from its functions and it's visivle from previous presentation of Register's points with reference to the way of usage of the invention as ifs stated we can see this invention is temporarily mechanical and safety useful means directed towards partly protection of personality from difficult injuries of body and essence with a violent sexual act.

[0035] From cognition that its preventive function makes partly conditions with the purpose of keeping this personal values becomes its purpose, imposed as an unavoidable need as an important part of women's clothes i.e. trousers.

[0036] Justification for its industrial production has multiple usage in only one victim less, permanently dishonoured and spiritually destroyed.

Claims

1. Two-headed rape protection button consists of a spool-shaped button body with a smaller head (1) and a bigger head (2), connected with a neck cylindrical part (3) and a cylindrical shaft (4) with outer thread throughout its length, which is attached with a pin (5) to the lower part of the garment (6), characterised by the fact that, there is a passing hole made with an inner thread passing through the smaller head (1), neck part (3) and bigger head (2) of the button body, in the direction of the central axis, matching the outer thread of the cylindrical shaft (4), by the fact that the smaller head (1) is constructed so that it can be slipped through the straight nonextensible slit (8) in the upper part of the garment (7) and the fact that the bigger head (2) is constructed so that it cannot be slipped through the same nonextensible slit (8) in the upper part of the garment (7).

2. The application of the two-headed rape protection button, according to the patent claim 1, is characterised by the fact that the button is used to make an attachment between the lower part of the garment (6) and the upper part of the garment (7) that can easily be connected and disconnected, so that the free smaller button body head (1) screwed onto the shaft (4) with the bigger head (2) turned towards the lower part of the garment (6) in the course of connecting slips through the straight nonextensible slit (8) in the upper part of the garment (7), while in disconnecting it is pulled through the straight nonextensible slit (8) in the upper part of the garment (7).

3. The application of the two-headed rape protection button, according to the patent claim 1 is characterised by the fact that the button is used to make connecting and disconnecting between the lower part of the garment (6) and the upper part of the garment (7) difficult, so that connecting is performed by passing the smaller head (1), turned towards the shaft (4) through the straight nonextensible slit (8) in the upper part of the garment (7) and screwing the button body onto the shaft (4), until the smaller head (1) leans onto the lower part of the garment (6), while disconnecting is performed by unscrewing the button body from the shaft (4) and pulling the smaller head (1) out through the straight nonextensible slit (8) in the upper part of the garment (7).
