[0019] Lastly, it is an object of the present invention to provide a sexual aid comprising a body fabricated of a generally lubricous glass-based material of borosilicate glass that has been annealed for strength and durability.

[0020] These together with other objects of the invention, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the invention, are pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed to and forming a part of this disclosure. For a better understanding of the invention, its operating advantages and the specific objects attained by its uses, reference should be had to the accompanying drawings and descriptive matter in which there is illustrated preferred embodiments of the invention.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0021] The invention will be better understood and objects other than those set forth above will become apparent when consideration is given to the following detailed description thereof. Such description makes reference to the annexed drawings wherein:

[0022] FIG. 1 is a perspective illustration of the preferred embodiment of the sex aid constructed in accordance with the principles of the present invention.

[0023] The same reference numerals refer to the same parts throughout the various Figures.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

[0024] With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to FIG. 1 thereof, the preferred embodiment of the new and improved sexual aid embodying the principles and concepts of the present invention and generally designated by the reference numeral 10 will be described.

[0025] The present invention, the new and improved sexual aid, in its broadest context, includes a body 10. The body is specifically configured and correlated one with respect to the other so as to attain the desired objectives.

[0026] The first component of the new and improved sexual aid for increasing stimulation during sexual acts is the body 10. The body has a three dimensional shape. The body is flame fire annealed or oven annealed.

[0027] All components of the sexual aid are fabricated of a generally lubricous glass-based material. This glass-based material contains an appreciable amount of an oxide of boron to render it lubricious and resistant to heat, chemicals, electricity and bacterial absorption.

[0028] Preferably, the present invention is formed of borosilicate glass.

[0029] The body comprising the present invention is annealed after forming into a desired shape thereby making it very strong and resistant to breakage. When used internally it is insulated and protected by flesh. So long as the surface integrity is maintained, the present invention is unbreakable during normal use.

[0030] The body comprising the present invention will last a lifetime when formed of borosilicate glass. The sexual aid comprising the present invention will maintain its clarity and glossy non-porous finish for hundreds of years with minimal care.

[0031] Sexual aids formed of non-borosilicate glass materials commonly break, decompose, discolor or have a foul odor after a short period of usage. The sexual aid comprising the present invention formed of borosilicate glass will not leach harmful toxins into a user's body. Commonly, sexual aids are formed of rubber, acrylic, plastic and latex and, therefore, leach dangerous toxins into the body of the user and are therefore sold uniformly only as novelties to avoid legal liability.

[0032] The present invention being formed of borosilicate glass and further being annealed has no seams, rough edges or pockets that would result in scratching or irritating human tissue or holding bacteria, viruses or other germs when properly cleaned.

[0033] The present invention is the only sexual aid that uses non-porous borosilicate glass to form the body thereof. Accordingly, when the body of the present invention is coated with a lubricant, none of the lubricant is absorbed by the sex aid. Consequently, the sex aid has a high degree of lubricity that lasts a long time with respect to human tissue normally associated with a user.

[0034] Further, in as much as the present invention's body is formed of borosilicate glass, when it is warmed or cooled for enhanced pleasure by the user, it retains its current temperature when placed within a user's body unlike conventional sexual aid bodies. Additionally, the use of borosilicate glass as the body of the sexual aid allows for complete sterilization thereof. The sex aid comprising the present invention may be boiled, autoclaved or cycled through a dishwasher for the cleaning thereof.

[0035] The body of the present invention may be used with water and oil-based lubricants. Unlike conventional water-based lubricants used to protect latex condoms which become sticky when used on rubber-like devices, the present invention provides smooth contact with human tissues. The sex aid comprising the present invention formed of borosilicate glass attracts and holds conventional lubricants on the surface of the sex aid in a uniform surface film. Inasmuch as borosilicate glass is non-porous the sex aid keeps a user better lubricated over a longer period of time. Sex aid devices formed of rubber, plastic, acrylic or metal that are intended for insertion into a human body repel water based lubricants thereby necessitating frequent re-wetting and relubricating the sex aid to prevent tissue tears and infections.

[0036] The arrangement of components and materials renders the present invention very suitable for mass production.

[0037] As to the manner of usage and operation of the present invention, the same should be apparent from the above description. Accordingly, no further discussion relating to the manner of usage and operation will be provided.

[0038] With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of the invention, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by the present invention.

[0039] Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the invention. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the invention to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the invention.
