Composite body building exerciser

A composite body building exerciser at least comprises a frame for supporting a seat, a seat back, and two side parallel tubes in similar size with two back-bent push bar to be held by hands; two connecting rods linked with the ground wheels; and a front leg with rubber shoe disposed in the direct opposite of the ground wheel; The front end of the frame receives a retractable pedal assembly. By dint of an elastic element mounted between the connecting rod and the frame, when a force is applied to the push bar, the seat back and the pedal assembly, the elastic element is therefore stretched, and the body building exerciser will produce a relative push and pull actions effected on the body.

Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[0001] This invention relates to a composite body building exerciser; in particular, it applies a balanced force on the hands, feet, waist and belly simultaneously in the practice.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0002] The rich life gets easy, so does the working mode. It is extremely inconvenient for white collar workers to take outdoor sports, so they prefer using indoor gymnastic apparatus which requires no consideration for weather, time and location.

[0003] The apparatus available in the gymnasium is in most cases a single action device, which in fact lacks diversification.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0004] The main object of this invention is to provide a composite body building exerciser which produces a single and combined effect on hands, feet, waist and belly. The exerciser deforms gradually in response to the practical force developed.

[0005] To achieve the aforesaid objective, the invention provides the player with a seat, a seat back and a pedal assembly mounted on the frame. Two push bars are installed on the back stiles and two downward extended connecting rods to link with ground wheels. A retractable tube is outfitted to the front end of the frame for adjusting the length of the pedal assembly. An elastic element is arranged between the connecting rod and the stile. While a force is applied to the push bars and the seat back, and further to the pedal assembly, the exerciser is deformed accordingly to produce a variety of practical momentum.

[0006] As illustrated in the embodiment in the attached drawings, the push bars are up arched and the connecting rods linked with the ground wheels are down bent. When the push bars are pushed forward, the ground wheels together with the connecting rods are moved backward, so the elastic element is therefore stretched.

[0007] In the illustrated embodiment, the back stile is slanted upward, and the front leg are slanted downward. While a force is applied to the seat back and the stile, the front leg works a lever point, so the elastic element is therefore stretched.

[0008] The novel features of the invention are expounded in great details with the aid of preferable embodiments illustrated in the attached drawings.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS

[0009] FIG. 1 shows a stereo of preferable embodiment of a body building exerciser of the invention.

[0010] FIG. 2 shows a disassembly of a body building exerciser of the invention.

[0011] FIG. 3 is a side view of a body building exerciser of the invention.

[0012] FIG. 4 shows a normal position of a body building exerciser of the invention when it is not in operation.

[0013] FIG. 5 shows a primary position when the exerciser is in operation.

[0014] FIG. 6 shows a further development from FIG. 5 of the body building exerciser of the invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0015] As shown in FIGS. 1 through 3, the composite body building exerciser of this invention mainly comprises a frame 10, having a level tube 11, a slant stile 12 at the far end of level tube 11, and a short slant bracket 13 is provided at the joint of the level tube 11 and the stile 12. At the front end of the level tube 11, there forms a front leg 14, a stretcher 15 and two rubber shoes 16.

[0016] A seat 20 is mounted on top of the level tube 11 and slant bracket 13, while a slant tile 12 is joined with a seat back 30, so the overall weight of the player may fall on the seat 20 and lie on the seat back 30. The front end of the level tube 11 permits an insertion of a retractable tube 40 and pedal assembly 41. As shown in the drawing, the level tube 11 of the frame 10 is a section of square hollow tube for receiving the retractable tube 40, and a lock knob 42 is used for adjusting and locking up the retractable tube 40 in place.

[0017] Two pivot shafts 17 are mounted at each side of the stile 12 for connecting the downward arched connecting rod 19, axle 191 and ground wheels 50. The pivot shafts 17 are further for mounting the up arched push bar 18.

[0018] The end of the stile 12 and outside of the connecting rods 19 are the place for arranging the elastic element 60 which is usually a long strip of rubber band hanging on the lugs 61 and 62.

[0019] While the exerciser is not in operation, the elastic element 60 is in shrinkage status and its recoil force makes the rubber shoes 16 and the ground wheels 50 very close. The exerciser remains in upright position as shown in FIG. 4. FIGS. 1 and 2 show the exerciser is in readiness.

[0020] FIGS. 1 through 3 show the exerciser is ready for operation. As shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, when the player is sitting on the exerciser, with two hands holding and pushing the push bars 18 forward as the arrow 101 indicates, lying on the seat back 30 as the arrow 102 indicates and extending his feet forward on the pedal assembly 41. There are three forces in action.

[0021] The forces applied produce such movements: as the arrow 101 indicates, the connecting rods 19 and the ground wheels 50 move backward, and the elastic elements 60 is stretched; as the arrow 102 indicates, the seat 30 and the stile 12 move downward; the elastic element 60 is more stretched; and as the arrow 103 indicates, the force applies to the pedal assembly 41, the elastic element 60 is extremely stretched. Once one force is released one after another, the elastic element 60 recovers little by little to the full strength. The significance of this exerciser is that it allows an application of a single force or multiple forces to achieve body movement.

[0022] The strength of force applied varies. When a primary force is applied, the exerciser is deformed as illustrated in FIG. 5. If a secondary force applied, the exerciser is further deformed as illustrated in FIG. 6. During the process of practice, the force is gradually applied, the exerciser deforms gradually to gain the full practice on body.
