Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0001] 1. Field of the Invention

[0002] This invention relates to a roller skate with power generator, and more particular to a roller skate with sound and light effects.

[0003] 2. Description of the Prior Art

[0004] There are numerous roller skates in the market today, but these skates are designed only for rolling on the street or for the youngsters to do some figure-skate type rolling, which are not appropriate for all age riders, thus are not so attractive to users.

[0005] A self-powered roller skate was later derived, which has mounted a generator on the wheel axle, the generator also includes a permanent magnetic ring and an inductive coil, and a number of lighting systems around the tire, and are connected to the generator, thus when rolling the tire, the permanent magnetic ring is activated to roll as well and generates electricity. However, this design is to provide electricity only when rolling the tire, and it only activates the lighting system, which has increased the attraction, but it still has only one function.

[0006] In view of this, the inventor has derived the present invention, which is more attractive and has more changes.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0007] It is the primary object of the present invention to provide a roller skate with sounding and lighting system, which has sound and light effects.

[0008] It is another object of the present invention to provide a roller skate with sounding and lighting system, which is attractive to users.

[0009] It is a further object of the present invention to provide a roller skate with sounding and lighting system, which is inexpensive in mass production.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0010] FIG. 1 is an exploded view of the present invention;

[0011] FIG. 2 is a side elevation view, partially sectioned; and

[0012] FIG. 3 is a front sectional view of the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

[0013] A roller skate with sounding and lighting system of the present invention, as shown in FIG. 1, comprises a tire 1, a fixture 2, and a generator 3. The roller skate 4 comprises a sounding and lighting system 43 connected to the generator 3, the sounding and lighting system 43 comprises LED lighting system and musical device. The generator 3 comprises a magnetic ring 31 and an inductive coil 32. By rolling the magnetic ring 31 with respect to the inductive coil 32, the inductive coil 32 shall produce electricity supplied to the sounding and lighting system 43.

[0014] The tire 1 has a pair of recesses 12 on respective sides of the wheel 11, and a strut 13 at the center portion for a wheel axle 5 to be inserted therein.

[0015] The fixture 2 comprises a base 21, and a cover 22. The base 21 is a bowl shape with one open side and one enclosed side, the enclosed side of the base 21 comprises a hole 211 at the center portion, and a notch 212 on the edge of the open side. The cover 22 has a rib 221 extending from the edge of the cover 22, corresponding to the notch 212 of the base 21, a pair of locators 222 extending from one side, and a sleeve 223 at the center portion thereof.

[0016] The roller skate 4 extends a pair of side walls 41 downwardly, with a pair of locating devices 42 on one of the inner side walls 41. The locating devices 42 are corresponding to the locators 222 of the cover 22.

[0017] To assemble the present invention, please refer to FIGS. 2 and 3, the inductive coil 32 is placed into the base 21 of the fixture 2 and sealed with the cover 22, whereas the rib 221 will engage and slide into the notch 212, whereas a slot will be left separately for a pair of electric wires 321 and 322 to be extended outward there through and connected with the sounding and lighting system 43. The magnetic ring 31 of the generator 3 is inserted into the tire 1 and sleeved onto the strut 13, then the fixture 2 is placed into the wheel 11 whereas the magnetic ring 31 will be within the inductive coil 32 and engage with the sleeve 223, thus the magnetic ring 31 is secured at place, and then the tire 1 is secured to the roller skate 4 by insertion of the wheel axle 5 from one side of the side walls 41 and extending outwardly from the other side of the walls 41, whereas a nut 6 will be threaded onto the wheel axle 5 to secure the tire 1, the fixture 2, and the generator 3 therein, constantly.

[0018] When rolling the tire 1, the strut 13 is activated to roll, which then brings the magnetic ring 31 to roll, simultaneously. Since the inductive coil 32 is secured in the fixture 2 by the locators 222 and the side walls 41, according to the theory of magnetic field, an electric power will be produced, which outputs through the wires 321 and 322 to the sounding and lighting system 43 to activate the system.

[0019] Further, since this design uses the magnetic ring to rotate while the inductive coil remains still, the electric wires 321 and 322 are pulled out directly from the inductive coil 32 to the sounding and lighting system 43 through the wires 321 and 322, which saves the labor of arranging the wires.
