Abstract

An improved structure of a multi-purpose storage packing pocket for storage of data sheets including books, manuals and objects including diskette . . . etc., and for refuses reduction, comprised of the pocket having an accommodation area being formed in one piece with its upper, lower and outer edges sealed up; an opening on the inner edge of the accommodation area to receive insertion of the contents; a folding area in proper width on one side of the opening of the accommodation area; a folding line on the folding area; a line of perforation on both sides of the folding line, or at where appropriately on the outer edge of the folding area, or separately to the outer side of the accommodation area; the line of perforations being bound in a folder when the folding area being folded by the folding line; a self-adhesive tape on outer edge or outer side of the folding area to adhere the pocket to the accommodation area or at the inner edge of the folding area; and the pocket being bound in the folder by the lines of perforations.

[0004] In the information age, user manuals, warranties, diskettes, CD and other accessories usually are put into a see-through PVC bag delivered together with electric home appliances and computer peripherals. Eventually, most of the PVC bags wind up in garbage disposal sites.

[0005] This creates a very serious problem and it is not only an environmental issue, but also a waste of resources since consumer has to purchase extra bags for the storage of data sheets and accessories. That is, to satisfy the consumer's needs, the factory has to produce storage bags, a waste of resources strictly being originated from the fact that the original packing bags finally turn into refuses. Should we be able to convert the original packing bag into a storage bag, we solve the problems of refuses and subsequent consumption of resources. Whereas the consumer no longer needs to buy extra storage bags, there will be no production of the storage bag. Lower demands means less consumption of resources, less refuses, and thus less pollution to the environment.

[0006] The present invention designed to cope with the problems is indeed a significant contribution to both of the trade and the environment.

[0007] How to store all those accessories and data sheets coming along with the computer and other electric appliances has become a nightmare to modem people. How to deal with all those warranties, user manuals, and CD piling up around us?

[0008] 1. Put all of them into a box and throw it away? Of course not! Warranties and user manuals concerns your right to call for warranty service.

[0009] 2. So, just by you some bags to put each sheet and/or pamphlet nice and neat into the bag. But the problem is that most of the bags are made with their open ends on the upper edge. The sheet or pamphlet just slips out of the bag if you are not holding it at the right angle, or if the bag is simply caught among piles of documents on the desk. This becomes a nasty thing and no one ever thinks up something to make it disappear. Naturally, you may wonder if the open can be closed up, it would be a good idea.

[0010] 3. Unless you are using a binder, otherwise, it is very easy for you to forget to put the manual or warranty back into the bag. When the time comes, you will spend much time to find it again. Therefore, it is recommended that you should use a binder for easy maintenance and carrying along.

[0011] Even all the problems described above are solved and there is the design of a storage bag, then what happens to those original bags that are attached to the computer or electric appliance? All those original bags will immediately turn into refuses. Imagine that how many original PVC bags have been produced each year? The answer will certainly surprise us. The solution would be simple if we could make the original bag also serves its purpose as a storage pocket. You can save your money and help the great environmental work of refuse reduction. That's two birds at one stone.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0012] The primary purpose of the present invention is to provide a multi-purpose storage packing pocket for preservation of data sheets and reducing the problem of refuses generated by the packing bags. To achieve the purpose, a pocket has its upper, lower and outer edges sealed, and has its inner edge opened to define an accommodation area in a size to accommodate data sheets including books and manuals, as well as objects including diskette . . . etc. A folding area in proper width is provided along the opening side of the accommodation area, a folding line is provided on the folding area, a line of multiple perforations is provided on the outer edge of folding area, or the outer side of the accommodation area, or each on both sides of the folding line so that when the folding area is folded up against the folding line, the line of multiple perforations are bound in a folder, or the pocket may be bound inside the folder by using the lines of perforations provided to the outer edge of the folding are and that on the outer side of the accommodation area; furthermore, a self-adhesive tape is provided on the outer edge of the folding area, or on the outer edge of the line of perforations to the folding area, and the folding area of the pocket is attached onto the surface of the accommodation area or the inner edge of the folding area by means of the self-adhesive tape for the pocket to be ready for use either in opened or closed status to accommodate data sheets including books and manuals, as well as objects including diskette . . . etc. If binding is desired, the lines of perforations along the outer edge of the folding area and the outer side of the accommodation area are bound in the folder; or align those lines of perforations on both sides of the folding line for the pocket to be bound in the folder to achieve the storage of data sheets.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

[0032] Referring to FIGS. 1, 2, 7, 8, 9, 10, 10A, 10B, 10C, 10D, 11 and 11A, a preferred embodiment of the present invention relates to a pocket 1 formed in one piece. An accommodation area 11 is formed integrated with the pocket 1 having the upper, the lower and the outer side of the accommodation area 11 sealed and an opening 111 provided on the inner side of the accommodation area 11 for the opening 111 and the accommodation area 11 to accommodate insertion of data sheets including books, manuals and objects including diskette . . . etc. A folding area 12 in proper width is provided on one side of the opening III of the accommodation area and a folding line 121 is provided at where appropriately on the folding area 11. Two lines of multiple perforations 123 at equal spacing are provided on both sides of the folding line 121 for those perforations 123 to be bound in a folder. A self-adhesion tape 122 is provided at the out edge of the folding area 12, for the folding area 12 of the pocket 1 to be adhered onto the surface of the accommodation area 11 or to the side of the inner edge of the folding area 12, making the pocket 1 available in its closed or open status to put data sheets including books, manuals, and objects including diskette . . . etc. into the accommodation area 11. Once the pocket 1 is folded along the folding line 121 to align those two lines of perforations 123 on both sides of the folding line 121 to allow the pocket 1 to be bound in the folder.

[0033] As illustrated in FIGS. 3, 4, 12, 14, 14A and 14B, the line of perforations 123 may be provided at where appropriately on the outer edge of the folding area 21 of the pocket 1, and a self-adhesive tape 122 is provided to the outer side of the line of perforations. As required, the folding area 21 of the pocket 1 is adhered to the surface of the edge of the accommodation area 11 by means of the self-adhesive tape 122 for the pocket 1 to be available for use in its closed status, and the pocket 1 may take advantage of the line of perforations 123 on the outer edge of the folding area 121 to be bound in the folder.

[0034] Now referring to FIGS. 5, 6, 15, 16 and 17, wherein, the line of perforations may be provided at where appropriately to the outer side of the folding area 11 of the pocket 1, or a binding area 112 is separately provided on the accommodation area 11, and another line of perforations 123 is provided on the binding area 112. Meanwhile, the self-adhesive tape 122 is provided at where appropriately to the outer edge of the folding area 21, and as required, the folding area 21 of the pocket 1 is adhered to the edge surface of the accommodation area 11 by means of the self-adhesive tape 122 for the pocket 1 to be ready for use in its closed status. Upon binding the pocket 1, the data sheets or objects inside the accommodation area 11 are moved towards the opening 111, then the self-adhesive tape 122 on the folding area 21 is adhered to the edge surface of the accommodation are 11 for storage of the data. Therefore, the pocket (1) allows multi-purpose including data storage and reducing the problem of refuses created by the original packing bags by means of the structure as disclosed above.

Claims

1. An improved structure of a multi-purpose storage packing pocket to store data sheets including books, manuals and objects including diskette... etc. and to reduce the refuses created by disposal of the original packing bags, is characterized by that the pocket an accommodation area being formed in one piece with its upper, lower and outer edges sealed up; an opening being provided on the inner edge of the accommodation area to receive insertion of data sheets including books, manuals and objects including diskette... etc.; a folding area in proper width being provided on one side of the opening of the accommodation area; a folding line being provided at where appropriately on the folding area; a line of perforation being provided at where appropriately each on both sides of the folding line, or at where appropriately on the outer edge of the folding area; or separately provided at where appropriately to the outer side of the accommodation area; the line of perforations being bound in a folder when the folding area being folded by the folding line; or the pocket being bound in the folder by taking advantage of the lines of perforations provided at the outer edge of the folding area and to the outer side of the accommodation area; a self-adhesive tape being provided as required on the surface of the accommodation area or on the side of the inner edge of the folding area for the pocket to be ready for use either in its opened or closed status to store those books, manuals or objects in the pocket; the pocket being bound by binding the lines of perforations provided at the outer edge of the folding area and to the outer side of the accommodation into the folder; or the pocket being bound in the folder by having the lines of perforations provided on both sides of the folding line to be aligned when the folding area of the pocket is folded by the folding line.

2. An improved structure of a multi-purpose storage packing pocket as claimed in claim 1, wherein a line of perforations is provided at where appropriately to the outer edge of the folding area of the pocket, and a self-adhesive tape is provided to the outer side of the line of perforations.

3. An improved structure of a multi-purpose storage packing pocket as claimed in claim 1, wherein multiple lines of perforations are provided at where appropriately at the outer edge of the accommodation area of the pocket.

4. An improved structure of a multi-purpose storage packing pocket as claimed in claim 1, wherein a binding area provided with multiple lines of perforations is provided at where appropriately at the outer edge of the accommodation area of the pocket.
