Portable telescopic rod retainer for locating golf rod

A telescopic rod retainer is disclosed. A protecting sleeve is located above a tip-end post of an outer tube and a press resists against the protecting sleeve to prevent it from sliding down. When the press is pressed inwards, the press moves along an inner groove in the protecting sleeve and then to a buckling hole in the protecting sleeve so as to be ejected out so that the tip-end post is protected. In storing the rod retainer; the inner tube is rotated to further move into the outer tube. When the outer tube is near the buckling ring, the inner tube is further rotated so that a threaded rod at the lower end of the inner tube is rotated into the buckling ring. When the buckling ring approaches the inner rod body, the buckling ring will expand so as to be tightly combined with the outer tube.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0001] The present invention relates to rod devices, and particularly to a telescopic rod retainer which is portable for retaining a rod, especially, a golf rod.

[0002] In golf exercise, golf rods are important in beating,balls. In general, in sport, if a golf rod is placed as desired, it is possible that the rod will be destroyed. If the rod is placed in the golf bag, every time, the user must take the rod from the bag. The operation is inconvenient.

[0003] Thus, there is an eager demand for a novel design which is improved the defect in the prior art.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0004] Accordingly, the primary object of the present invention is to provide a telescopic rod retainer. A protecting sleeve encloses an outer tube above a tip-end post of the outer tube and a press on a lower end of the outer tube is out of the protecting sleeve so that the protecting sleeve will not slide down. When the press is pressed inwards, the press moves along an inner groove in the protecting sleeve and then to a buckling hole in the protecting sleeve so as to be ejected out so that the tip-end post is protected. When it is desired to store the rod retainer; the inner tube is rotated to further move into the outer tube; when the outer tube is near the buckling ring, the inner tube is further rotates so that a threaded rod at the lower end of the inner tube is rotated into the buckling ring. When the buckling ring approaches the inner rod body, the buckling ring will expand so as to be tightly combined with the outer tube.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0011] Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, the telescopic rod retainer of the present invention comprises the following elements.

[0012] An outer tube 1 is formed by an outer tube body 10 and a tip-end post 11 below the outer tube body 10. A press 12 is installed on the out tube body 10. The outer tube 1 has inner threads.

[0013] An inner tube 2 is sequentially formed by a threaded rod 21, an inner tube body 20, and a moveable seat 23; a periphery of the moveable seat 23 is formed with a plurality of buckling recesses 22. The inner tube 2 is screwed in the outer tube 1.

[0014] A protecting sleeve 14 is formed by a sleeve body 17 and a toggle 15 below the sleeve body 15, and a buckling hole 13 is formed on the sleeve body 17, and an inner groove 16 is formed in an interior of the protecting sleeve. The protecting sleeve 14 is installed at a lower end of the interior of the outer tube 1.

[0015] A clip 3 has a movable tenon 31. The movable tenon 31 is installed to the moveable seat 23. The clip 3 is movable with the rotation of the moveable seat 23.

[0016] A buckling ring 4 encloses the threaded rod 21 of the inner tube 2.

[0017] In assembly, an interior of the buckling ring 4 has threads; and then the inner tube 2 is placed in the outer tube 1. The outer tube 1 is tightly combined to the buckling ring 4.

[0018] When it is desired to store the rod retainer of the present invention, the inner tube 2 is rotated to further move into the outer tube 1. When the outer tube 1 is near the buckling ring 4, the inner tube 2 is further rotated so that the threaded rod 21 is rotated into the buckling ring 4. When the buckling ring 4 approaches the inner rod body 20, the buckling ring 4 will expand so as to be tightly combined with the outer tube 1.

[0019] Furthermore, the thread of the outer tube 1 has an orientation opposite to the thread at the interior of the buckling ring 4, and a section of the inner surface of the outer tube 1 above the buckling ring 4 has no threads. Thereby, firstly, the inner tube 2 is rotated along one direction, when the threaded rod 21 touches the buckling ring 4, the inner tube 2 rotates with an opposite direction so that the threaded rod 21 is screwed into the buckling ring 4.

[0020] Referring to FIGS. 2, 5 and 5-1, the outer tube 1 has a press 12, wherein the protecting sleeve 14 encloses the outer tube 1 above the tip-end post 11 and the press 12 is out of protecting sleeve so that the protecting sleeve 14 will not slide down. When the press 12 is pressed inwards, the press 12 moves along the inner groove 16 in the protecting sleeve 14 and then to the buckling hole 13 so as to be ejected out so that the tip-end post 11 is protected by the protecting sleeve 14. Thereby, in moving, the tip-end post 11 will not touch the ground.

[0021] Referring to FIGS. 4 and 4-1, the movable tenon 31 of the clip 3 is buckled to the moveable seat 23 so that the movable tenon 31 can rotate horizontally and longitudinally and thus the orientation of the clip 3 is adjustable.

[0022] In operation, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 3-1, the tip-end post 11 of the rod retainer A is inserted into ground so that the rod retainer A stands on the round. At this time, the golf rods B and C can be located in the clip 3. If it is desired to store the rod retainer A, the height of the rod retainer A is adjustable by rotating the outer tube 1 so that the inner tube 2 reduces inwards. When a desired height is achieved, the outer tube 1 rotates along a reverse direction so that that the buckling ring 4 is engaged with the outer tube 1. Thus, the inner tube 2 is firmly secured to the outer tube 1.

[0023] The present invention is thus described, it will be obvious that the same may be varied in many ways. Such variations are not to be regarded as a departure from the spirit and scope of the present invention, and all such modifications as would be obvious to one skilled in the art are intended to be included within the scope of the following claims.

Claims

1. A telescopic rod retainer comprising:

an outer tube formed by an outer tube body and a tip-end post below the outer tube body; a press being installed on the out tube body; the outer tube having inner threads; a press being installed at lower section of an outer surface of the outer tube body;
a buckling ring at a lower end of ah interior of the outer tube; and the outer tube being tightly, combined to the buckling ring;
an inner tube sequentially formed by a threaded rod, an inner tube body, and a moveable seat; a periphery of the moveable seat being formed with a plurality of buckling recesses; the inner tube being screwed in the outer tube,
a clip having a movable tenon; the movable tenon being installed to the moveable scat; the clip being movable with the rotation of the moveable seat; and
a protecting sleeve being formed by a sleeve body and a toggle below the sleeve body, and a buckling hole being formed on the sleeve body and an inner groove in the inner surface of the toggle body; the protecting sleeve being installed at a lower end of an interior of the outer tube;
wherein the protecting sleeve encloses the outer tube above the tip-end post and the press is out of the toggle and resists against the protecting sleeve so that the protecting sleeve will not slide down; when the press is pressed inwards, the press moves along the inner groove in the protecting sleeve and then to the buckling hole so as to be ejected out so that the tip-end post is protected by the protecting sleeve; thereby, in moving, the tip-end post will not touch the ground; and
wherein when it is desired to store the rod retainer; the inner tube is rotated to further move into the outer tube; when the outer tube is near the buckling ring, the inner tube is further rotated so that the threaded rod is rotated into the buckling ring; when the buckling ring approaches the inner rod body, the buckling ring will expand so as to be tightly combined with the outer tube.

The telescopic rod retainer as claimed in claim 1, wherein the thread of the outer tube has an orientation opposite to the thread at the interior of the buckling ring, and a section of the inner surface of the outer tube above the buckling ring has no threads; thereby, firstly, the, inner tube is rotated along one direction, when the threaded rod touches the buckling ring, the inner tube, rotates along an opposite direction so that the threaded rod is screwed into the buckling ring.
