Description
BACKGROUND SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0001] The reason I thought of this idea was because of the difficulty I was having in trying to wipe myself when I got a fractured rib December of 2002. I was having to use an old wooden spoon and wrapped toilet paper around it. The wooden spoon also helped me when I had lower back pain and could not twist to one side or the other to wipe myself As I have been gaining weight I keep finding it harder to reach to wipe myself I feel this would be good for overweight and obese people.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0002] It will be a one piece object. The handle will have a smooth comfortable grip. It will have a long somewhat half moon curved arm and a small spoon like tip that is slimmer at the tip, but round to avoid injury. It will be made of strong smooth plastic. It will have a wide plastic hook close to the handle to anchor the toilet paper as it is wrapped around the Extend-A-Wipe and then on the last wrap around, it can be hooked again to secure it. After a person has wiped, all they have to do is unhook toilet paper/or moist toilettes and push it down from the back.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS

[0003] The drawings are simple as the object will be. It has a handle that has a wide middle and smaller at the ends to help with the grip and make it more comfortable. The arm will be curved like the buttocks to aid in reaching the anus and making the wiping smoother. The tip is spoon like with a doom at the bottom and spoon like indention on top to help in containing the wiped fecal matter. Close to the hand is a wide plastic hook for securing the toilet paper.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

[0004] The Extend-a-Wipe is to be used for assistance in wiping one's self after bowel movements. Handle with grip has small plastic hook and a curved ladle with spoon like end. Toilet paper can be wrapped around device and attached on small hook to secure toilet paper. This will help a person who has a bad back or rib injury, or who has had surgery to be able to reach and wipe after a bowel movement without having to bend or over extend and injure themselves.
