Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

(a) Technical Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to container structure, and in particular, a container for holding cosmetic or the like, having a fastening plate at one side of the container to provide easy opening and closing of the container.

(b) Description of the Prior Art

FIGS. 6 and 7 show a conventional container for containing cosmetics having a box body 30 with a holding slot 31 at the center of the box body 30. One side of the body 30 is protruded with a pivotal seat 32 for fastening with a pivotal seat 41 at one end of the box cover 40. The box cover 40 is pivotally mounted at the body 30 to enable pivotal opening of the box cover 40. The other side of the body 3 is a protruded stripe 33 or a protruded edge for mounting with the fastening plate 42 extended downward from the top section of the box body 40 so that the engaging edge 43 protruded from the bottom end of the plate body is mounted when the box cover 40 is at a corresponding position by applying a slight force. The engaging edge 43 will engage with the protruded stripe 33 and the container is tightly closed. The drawbacks of operating the conventional container are that (1) a force has to be applied, (2) engagement between the engaging edge 43 and the protruded stripe 33 may be too tight or too loose, (3) fastening of the container is rather difficult, and (4) the pivot of the container may be deformed and the opening of the cover body is not convenient, which affects the sealing of the container. When the closing of the cover body is too loose, the cosmetics within the slots of the container may be leaked out. In view of the above, the conventional cosmetic container is unpractical to hold cosmetics without leakage, and therefore it is an object of the present invention to provide an improved structure of a container for storing cosmetics.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

Accordingly, it is an object of the present invention to provide a container for cosmetics, an improved structure of a container for cosmetics having a body with storing slots and a box cover, characterized in that one end of the body is provided with a pivotal slot for insertably mounting with a pivotal seat disposed at one end of the box body to allow the box cover to be easily opened, the other end of the body is protruded with an engaging plate, on the box cover, corresponding to the engaging plate, an edge face is protruded from the face of the cover, and the interior of box cover is a hollow insertion slot for the pivotal rotation of the fastening plate, and the center of the fastening plate is provided with a through hole so that the fastening plate can be inserted for fastening, allowing the box cover and the body being fastened.

Yet a further object of the present invention is to provide a container for cosmetics, wherein the bottom end of the fastening plate of the body is an arch-shaped edge.

Still another object of the present invention is to provide a container for cosmetics, wherein the body and the corresponding ring edge of the box cover is provided with stepped ring face to form into an auxiliary for engageably sealing.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

The following descriptions are of exemplary embodiments only, and are not intended to limit the scope, applicability or configuration of the invention in any way. Rather, the following description provides a convenient illustration for implementing exemplary embodiments of the invention. Various changes to the described embodiments may be made in the function and arrangement of the elements described without departing from the scope of the invention as set forth in the appended claims.

Referring to FIGS. 1 to 5, there is shown an improved structure of a container for cosmetic having a body 10 with storing slot 11 and a box cover 20. In accordance with a preferred embodiment, one end of the body 10 is provided with a pivotal slot 12 for insertably mounting with a pivotal seat 21 disposed at one end of the box body 10 to allow the box cover 20 to be easily opened. The other end of the body 10 is protruded with an engaging plate 13 extended downward from the top section of the box cover 20. On the box cover 20, corresponding to the engaging plate 13, an edge face is protruded from the face of the cover 20, and the interior of box cover 20 is a hollow insertion slot 22 for the pivotal rotation of the fastening plate 23, and the center of the fastening plate 23 is provided with a through hole 24 so that the engaging plate 13 can be inserted for fastening, allowing the box cover 20 and the body 10 being fastened.

In accordance with the present invention, the end edge of the box cover 20 and the box body 10 is smooth, and the fastening plate 23 is pivotally fastening to the bottom end of the engaging plate 13 to provide a tight fastening so that the contents of the container will not leak out. In accordance with the present invention, force is only applied to the fastening plate 23 to provide rotation. Thus, the other parts of the box body 20 will not be affected. After the box body 20 is closed, the entire structure of the container is firmly secured.

The stepped recess and the protrusion engaged with each other and the entire sealing is obtained. The through hole 24 of the fastening plate 23 is engaged with the bottom arch-shaped edge at the front end of the engaging plate 13 to obtain the container in accordance with the present invention. It will be understood that each of the elements described above, or two or more together may also find a useful application in other types of methods differing from the type described above.

While certain novel features of this invention have been shown and described and are pointed out in the annexed claim, it is not intended to be limited to the details above, since it will be understood that various omissions, modifications, substitutions and changes in the forms and details of the device illustrated and in its operation can be made by those skilled in the art without departing in any way from the spirit of the present invention.
