Multiple exercises apparatus

The present utility model is related to elements associated with physical education. Particularly, it refers to an exercises apparatus projected in a single piece and in a minimum of used space, for the execution of different activities oriented towards body-building, and that essentially comprise means for fixed bar, parallel bars, press-ups on horizontal bar or push-ups, and abdominals activity, to obtain eight different exercises and, additionally, the apparatus can be shared by two persons at the same time, with the particularity that the unit is a simple structure, formed by posts and extensions in different forms and levels.

Description
BRIEF BACKGROUND OF THE UTILITY MODEL

A gymnasium, or simply any public sports installation, generally has a set of parallel bars, fixed bars, hanging rings; which are spread in a relatively large area that can average some 10×10 mts. minimum, for a limited number of gymnastic apparatuses and for a low average of users. As an obvious result, this condition causes some “queue” for the use of such apparatuses, which is more evident in the hours of peak user affluence, also creating a certain friction between people and likewise affecting the user from a psychological point of view, as he/she cannot perform the exercises with total liberty.

On the other hand, the space requirements are also a limitation and it is not easy to obtain a space for such a purpose, even with an area of 10×10 mts., as indicated above. One of the main objects of the model is precisely to surmount that deficiency, by using a multiple gymnastic apparatus that we can qualify as “concentrated”, with regard to its versatility in offering different exercise possibilities.

Another object of the model is to provide said “concentrated” apparatus within a minimum space, which allows a whole series of them to be located in a reduced area.

A further object of the model is that it presents a configuration, which could be called as “two faced”, so that one user can utilize one of the faces while the other uses the opposite one, without interference of space movements.

Yet another object of the model is to provide a structure that, even with the advantages indicated above, is an essentially simple structure but rationally conceived both for its use as for its construction.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

The specific details and characteristics of the utility model are graphically represented in the attached illustrative figures, wherein:

FIG. 1, is a perspective view of the apparatus that defines the utility model.

FIG. 2, is a side view of the model.

FIG. 3, is an enlarged detail of implementing the anchoring mode on the ground, of the apparatus indicated in FIG. 2

FIG. 4, is a projection view of the fixed bar.

FIG. 5, is a partial view of one of the legs of the apparatus, in another implementation, for a non-fixed settling of the unit.

FIG. 6, is a non-fixed partial side view of the unit.

As can be see from the above identified figures, the unit of the multiple exercise apparatus is formed by a relatively simple structure, although efficient and strong, defined by a pair of inclined parallel columns 1, joined together by intermediate rungs (cross-bars). Columns 1 have, in an upwards course and in the middle part, horizontal projections 3 disposed towards the part that, by convection, we will denominate rear of the unit. In the same rear part and over the base extensions, platforms are placed supported on projections 4 that form grip handles, said platforms are repeated on the base of the front part, as platforms 5.

In the upper ends of the columns, ledges 2 are projected as a handle-bars with different folds, connected together, and as a continuity, by a fixed bar rung 6.

The base of the unit is defined by two angular straight portions that form an open angle providing such configuration, resistance and stability. A variant or non-fixed version of said base is shown in FIG. 6, together with the detail of FIG. 5 that partially shows one of the legs, with the seat 7a.

With the placement of the component elements directly related to the performance of exercises, it can be observed that, for example, the ledges 5 allow the use of the unit as parallel bars, supported on the rear platforms to which the ledges 4 are connected.

In turn, the ledges 4 allow the use of the unit as a mean to perform the so called “push-ups” or “press-ups on horizontal bar”, forming an intermediate space between said ledges that will allow the movement of the user's head during the exercise. Platforms 5, placed on the front face of the unit, determine a mean to set the feet and reach the “handle-bar” 2 or the fixed bar 6. As can be appreciated from the figures, the “handle-bar” 2 has folds that allow variations of the fixed bar exercise, as well as feet supports when wanting to exercise the user's inverted position, for an activity such as the performance of abdominals by contraction of the legs or, also, during the normal position, to rise with semi-opened arms, such as in conventional hanging rings, thus strengthening the arms.

As has been previously indicated, and because the apparatus that constitutes the model has “two usable faces”, one user can exercise on one of the faces independently and without interfering in any way with another user exercising on the opposite face. In other words, each apparatus can be used by 2 persons in the same exercise session.

Claims

1. A multiple exercise apparatus characterized by a double column and arched base structure, which comprises on one of its faces (rear) support platforms with ledges projected out of said platforms; and ledges placed in the middle of the course of the columns; on the front face it has support platforms on the upper end of said columns with projections that support a type of fixed handle-bar with folds, as well as a transverse fixed bar.

2. An apparatus with claim 1, characterized because the rear lower ledges define means to perform the press-up on horizontal bar exercises.

3. An apparatus according to claim 1, characterized because the rear intermediate ledges provide means to perform parallel bars exercises.

4. An apparatus according to claim 1, characterized because the upper elements of the front face provide means to perform fixed bar exercises in variants determined by the configuration of said upper elements.

5. An apparatus according to claim 1, characterized because it presents 2 faces of exercise elements, which allow in one apparatus the operation or activity of 2 users.
