Chairback bible/book holder

A portable chairback book holder of the type used to display books for reading. The one unit assembled book holder has an extending hinged arm attached to upper top back base section that fits over chair back to hold and support weight of book. The attached hinged arm extension can be folded down when not in use for easy transport. The book holder includes a box container attached to hanging back section; measuring the width and height of holder to hold writing materials and other small items. The flat base section is attached across the bottom of holder with extended lip on front side to support book.

Description
SUMMARY OF INVENTION

PURPOSE—This invention is a useful item of support for use at such places such as conferences, workshops, churches and schools. It will allow users hands freedom to write and/or handle other materials in meetings, or personal use in office, or home. Prior to this useful invention people have clumsily tried to stabilized books and other materials on their laps.

CONSTRUCTION—The Chairback Bible/Book Holder is a one piece unit and made of light acrylic material, which makes it easy for transporting. The holder can also be a custom fit permanent attachment to chairs.

INVENTION DESCRIPTION

The physical structure of the Chairback Bible/Book Holder consist of the following elements illustrated in Fig. II. A, B, C, D, E. Acrylic is the material used to construct this invention. The base Fig. A is a two inch acrylic extension lever attached across the front bottom side of Fig. C. This extension is the ledge that supports the book. Fig. C. is the boxed container attached on the front side of Fig. D. to hold writing materials and other useful literature of user. Fig. B. is the lower arm attached to the bottom center of Fig. D. (the back section of the holder) and placed against the chairback to support the entire holder. Fig. B. is attached with hinges to back of holder and folds Up against back of holder when not in use. Fig. E. is the chairback overlay support arm attached with hinges on each extreme ends to top section Fig. D. and fits over the chairback.

Claims

1. We claim the book holder as a useful and needed instrument comprising

(a) an acrylic portable light instrument with movable arm to easily fit over to most designed chairbacks
(b) support book ledge is durable and adaptable to hold various size books
(c) provides attached box containers to hold writing implements and materials
(d) holds books to free users' hands for writing and other activities.
(e) can be permanently attached to the upper back of chair
