Scrapbook purse
A scrapbook having an outer binder shaped as a purse and containing pages therein. Each page has memorabilia that can include text, pictures and decorations therein.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION1. Field of the Invention
The present invention is related to a scrapbook preferable for children. In particular, the present invention provides for a girl's purse that opens up to reveal scrapbook pages when looking inside the purse one finds scrapbook pages with decorations thereon.
2. The Prior Art
U.S. Pat. No. 6,600,810 to Doucet relates to a kit for creating a display of assorted memorabilia. The memorabilia is contained in a standard photo album book.
U.S. Pat. No. 3,316,669 to Nachbar relates a scrapbook having a rigid base material.
U.S. Patent to Hawkins discloses a heart-shaped album book.
It would be desirable to provide children's scrapbook containing memorabilia, including personalized text and objects adhered together where the outside is rigid material in the form of a purse.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONThe present invention provides for a scrapbook having an outside binder, made of rigid material, formed as a purse, where the binder comprises a plurality of rigid sheets upon which a person's memorabilia can be attached. The memorabilia includes text and objects adhered together by various means and the pages can be decorated with gems and stickers.

One embodiment of the binder is shown in FIGS. 12(A)-12(F). The binder can be formed of two parts; an outer post (left side) and an inner post (right hand side). The inner post can be removed or reinserted with respect to the outer post of the binder for fastening purposes. FIGS. 12(D), 12(E) and 12(F) show sectional views of FIGS. 12(A), 12(B), 12(C), respectively.
The scrapbook purse can also be packaged and sold as a kit in a plastic bag (not illustrated).

Claims
1. A scrapbook purse comprising:
- an outer binder shaped as a purse;
- one or more rigid pages contained within an outer binder containing memorabilia on each said page; and
- binding means for fastening said outer binder said one or more rigid pages together.
2. The scrapbook according to claim 1 wherein said memorabilia includes pictures.
3. The scrapbook according to claim 1 wherein said memorabilia includes text.
4. The scrapbook according to claim 1 wherein said memorabilia includes decorations.
5. The scrapbook according to claim 1 wherein said one or more rigid page is adapted to be decorated with text by a user.
6. The scrapbook according to claim 1 wherein said one or more rigid page is adapted to be decorated with pictures by a user.
7. The scrapbook according to claim 1 wherein said rigid page is adapted to be decorated with decorations by a user.
8. The scrapbook purse according to claim 1 wherein said outer binder includes pockets.
9. The scrapbook purse according to claim 1 wherein said outer binder includes zippers.
10. The scrapbook purse according to claim 1 wherein said outer binder includes zippered pockets.
