Abstract

A table with two adjustable table plates comprises two parallel seats connected by at least one seat plates; each seat being connected one end of a first telescopic rod and one end of a second telescopic rod; another end of the first telescopic rod having a first connecting plate for supporting a first table plate and another end of the second telescopic rod having a second connecting plate for supporting a second table plate; a first transmission device located between the first table plate and one seat plate for adjusting the level of the first table plate; a second transmission device located between the second table plate and the second transmission device for adjusting the level of the second table plate; and a first and second positioning units for fixing the first and second telescopic rods to desired lengths. Thereby, the first and second table plates have two different elevations.

Description

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to tables, and particular to a table with two adjustable table plates, wherein the table with two adjustable table plates has two table plates. An elevation of each table plate is adjustable independently so as to present a beautiful outlook and two persons can use the table individually.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

In the prior art, one table only has one table plate. All object placed on the table have the same elevation. Computers have become a popular device in home. Almost every home has a computer. Since the conventional table is not suitable to place the computer and keyboard, it is very often that another computer used table is added. However, this occupies the space in room so that the room become narrow.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

Accordingly, the primary object of the present invention is to provide a table with two adjustable table plates, wherein the table has two table plates. An elevation of each table plate is adjustable independently.

Another object of the present invention is to provide a table with two adjustable table plates, wherein the two table plates can be adjusted to different elevations so as to present a beautiful outlook.

A further object of the present invention is to provide a table with two adjustable table plates, wherein two persons can use the table with each having a personal table plate.

To achieve above object, the present invention provide a table with two adjustable table plates which comprises two parallel seats connected by at least one seat plates; each seat being connected to one end of a first telescopic rod and one end of a second telescopic rod; another end of the first telescopic rod having a first connecting plate for supporting a first table plate and another end of the second telescopic rod having a second connecting plate for supporting a second table plate; a first transmission device located between the first table plate and one seat plate for adjusting the level of the first table plate; a second transmission device located between the second table plate and the second transmission device for adjusting the level of the second table plate; and a first and second positioning units for fixing the first and second telescopic rods to desired lengths. Thereby, the first and second table plates have two different elevations.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

In order that those skilled in the art can further understand the present invention, a description will be described in the following in details. However, these descriptions and the appended drawings are only used to cause those skilled in the art to understand the objects, features, and characteristics of the present invention, but not to be used to confine the scope and spirit of the present invention defined in the appended claims.

Referring to FIGS. 1 to 3, the adjustable table of the present invention is illustrated. The table of the present invention has the following elements.

Two parallel seats 10, 20 are connected by two seat plates 30 (the number of the seat plates 30 are not confined by two, other numbers are allowable in the present invention). Each seat 10, 20 is connected to one end of a first telescopic rod 101, 201 and one end of a second telescopic rod 103, 202, respectively. Another end of the first telescopic rod 101, 201 has a first connecting plate 103, 203 for supporting a first table plate 40 and another end of the second telescopic rod 103, 202 has a second connecting plate 104, 204 for supporting a second table plate 50.

A first transmission device 60 is located between the first table plate 40 and one seat plate 30 for adjusting the level of the first table plate 40.

A second transmission device 61 is located between the second table plate 50 and the second transmission device 61 for adjusting the level of the second table plate 50.

A first stud 105 serves for fixing the first telescopic rods 101, 201 to a desired length. A second stud 205 serves to fix the second telescopic rods 103, 202 to a desired length. Thereby, the first table plate 40 and second table plate 50 have two different elevations.

In the embodiment, the first transmission device 60 is a first pneumatic rod 601. An upper side of the first pneumatic rod 601 has a first connecting seat 602 for connecting to the first table plate 40. A first operating rod 603 is arranged to the first connecting seat 602 for actuating the first pneumatic rod 601. The second transmission device 61 is a second pneumatic rod 611. An upper side of the second pneumatic rod 611 has a second connecting seat 612 for connecting to the second table plate 50. A second operating rod 613 is arranged to the second connecting seat 612 for actuating the second pneumatic rod 611.

Referring to FIG. 4, in above mentioned embodiment, the operation rod 603, 613 is replaced by a rope 604.

However, in the present invention, one table has two table plates which can have different elevations so as to increase the availability of the table and the table can have a beautiful outlook. Thereby, two persons can use the table at the same time.

The present invention is thus described, it will be obvious that the same may be varied in many ways. Such variations are not to be regarded as a departure from the spirit and scope of the present invention, and all such modifications as would be obvious to one skilled in the art are intended to be included within the scope of the following claims.

Claims

1. A table with two adjustable table plates comprising:

two parallel seats connected by at least one seat plate; each seat being connected to one end of a first telescopic rod and one end of a second telescopic rod; another end of the first telescopic rod having a first connecting plate for supporting a first table plate and another end of the second telescopic rod having a second connecting plate for supporting a second table plate;

a first transmission device located between the first table plate and one seat plate for adjusting the level of the first table plate;

a second transmission device located between the second table plate and the second transmission device for adjusting the level of the second table plate; and

a first positioning unit for fixing the first telescopic rods to a predetermined length; a second positioning unit for fixing the second telescopic rods to a predetermined length; thereby, the first table plate and second table plate having two different elevations.

The table with two adjustable table plates as claimed in claim 1, wherein the first transmission device is a first pneumatic rod; an upper side of the first pneumatic rod has a first connecting seat for connecting to the first table plate; a first operating unit is arranged to the first connecting seat for actuating the first pneumatic rod; the second transmission device is a second pneumatic rod; an upper side of the second pneumatic rod has a second connecting seat for connecting to the second table plate; a second operating unit is arranged to the second connecting seat for actuating the second pneumatic rod.

3. The table with two adjustable table plates as claimed in claim 1, wherein the first and second operating units are operation rods.

4. The table with two adjustable table plates as claimed in claim 1, wherein the first and second operating units are ropes.

5. The table with two adjustable table plates as claimed in claim 1, wherein the first and second positioning units are studs.
