Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to an object, and more particularly to an object having a decorative outer layer applied thereon and made of waste materials.

2. Description of the Prior Art

More and more waste plastic materials, waste rubber materials, or other waste synthetic materials have been developed today and discarded away, which have been seriously pollute our environment.

In order to save our environment, some of the waste plastic materials, waste rubber materials, or other waste synthetic materials have been recycled and used again. However, most of the recycled or waste materials are embedded in various objects, and have not been provided for decorative purposes.

The present invention has arisen to mitigate and/or obviate the afore-described disadvantages of the conventional objects and waste materials.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The primary objective of the present invention is to provide an object including a decorative outer layer applied thereon and made of waste materials.

In accordance with one aspect of the invention, there is provided an object comprising an outer peripheral surface, and at least one decorative layer applied onto the outer peripheral surface of the object, the decorative layer including a plurality of particles formed by waste and recycled materials, to increase an abrasiveness of the object.

A liquid material is further provided and mixed with the particles of waste and recycled materials for applying and attaching onto the outer peripheral surface of the object.

Further objectives and advantages of the present invention will become apparent from a careful reading of the detailed description provided hereinbelow, with appropriate reference to the accompanying drawings.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

FIG. 1 is a perspective view of an object in accordance with the present invention, having a decorative outer layer applied thereon and made of waste materials;

FIG. 2 is a partial cross sectional view taken along lines 2-2 of FIG. 1;

FIG. 3 is a cross sectional view illustrating a container for preparing the materials for applying onto the object;

FIG. 4 is a perspective view illustrating a printing machine for applying the decorative outer layer onto the object;

FIG. 5 is an enlarged partial perspective view of the printing machine as shown in FIG. 4; and

FIG. 6 is a perspective view illustrating a painting device for applying the decorative outer layer onto the object.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

Referring to the drawings, and initially to FIGS. 1 and 2, an object 10 in accordance with the present invention may preferably be a leather or a sheet member and comprises one or more decorative layers 11 applied onto the outer peripheral surface 17 thereof and having recycled or waste materials 12 engaged or provided therein.

The recycled or waste particle materials 12 may be selected from the waste plastic materials, the waste rubber materials, or other waste synthetic materials, which may be ground or cut into particles or various sizes or volumes or diameters or lengths or widths, by such as grinding machines, cutting machines, or the like.

As shown in FIG. 3, the recycled or waste particle materials 12 may then be disposed in a container 70, and mixed with and/or blended with a liquid material 14, such as adhesive materials, painting materials, printing ink materials, or the like, and preferably suitably stirred together to form a pasty material 15. It is preferable that the recycled or waste particle materials 12 occupy about 30%˜80% by weight, and the liquid material 14 occupy about 70%˜20% by weight.

As shown in FIGS. 4, 5, the pasty material 15 may then be applied onto the object 10 by such as the rollers 21 of a usual printing machine 20, or by a painting device 30 (FIG. 6), in order to apply the decorative layers 11 onto the object 10 and to have the recycled or waste particle materials 12 engaged or provided in the decorative layers 11. The recycled or waste particle materials 12 may then be solidly secured or attached onto the object 10 after the liquid material 14 has been dried or cured.

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the decorative layers 11 which are applied onto the object 10 may have the recycled or waste particle materials 12 engaged or provided therein, and which may greatly increase the abrasiveness of the object 10. The sheet or leather like object 10 may preferably be used to make gloves, shoes, anti-slip pads, anti-collision cushions, roofs, etc.

Accordingly, the object in accordance with the present invention includes a decorative outer layer applied thereon and made of waste materials.

Although this invention has been described with a certain degree of particularity, it is to be understood that the present disclosure has been made by way of example only and that numerous changes in the detailed construction and the combination and arrangement of parts may be resorted to without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as hereinafter claimed.
