Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a cell phone carrying device and more particularly, to a cell phone carrying bag adapted to carry a cell phone on the user's hand.

2. Description of the Related Art

Cell phone is a mobile telephone that can be used to communicate with another cell phone subscriber or any person at a domestic telephone abroad. A cell phone uses radio wave to send and receive signal, and is carried by the user for convenient use. People may carry a cell phone in any of the following four ways:

1. Put in the pocket. The advantage of this way is to use the pocket of the clothes to hold the cell phone, and the user needs not to spend money to buy a cell phone bag. However, the front side of the pocket holding a cell phone becomes protruded, and the received cell phone may fall out of the pocket easily.

2. Put in a bag. When received the cell phone in a bag, the user must constantly carry the bag with oneself.

3. Fasten to the waist. According to this method, a cell phone bag connectable to the waist belt is used to carry the cell phone. However, it is not convenient to take the cell phone out of the cell phone bag at the waist belt. When sitting, the cell phone bag may touch the abdomen or the thigh. Further, this cell phone carrying method is not suitable for most women because few women use a waist belt. Further, it is not graceful in appearance when a lady carrying a cell phone in a cell phone bag at the waist belt.

4. Hang on the neck. The user can use the cell phone conveniently if the cell phone is hung on the neck. However, the hanging cell phone will hit the user's chest frequently when walking, and the hanging cell phone may cause a robbery. If the hanging cell phone is stretched, the hanging belt may injure the user's neck.

Further, at the present time, scientists and scholars still cannot definitely assert that electromagnetic waves from a cell phone can cause a disease of the brain or other tissues. However, the influence of radio waves of a cell phone has worried the consumers. Putting a cell phone on the pocket in front of the chest or hanging a cell phone on the neck or the waist keeps the cell phone close to the major organs of the body. More particularly to a person using a pacemaker, the radio waves of the cell phone may affect normal functioning of the pacemaker if the cell phone is hung on the neck or the waist. According to Health Industry Manufacturers Association, it is recommended to keep the cell phone away from the pacemaker at a distance minimum 15 cm (6 inches), preventing possible interference with the functioning of the pacemaker.

Further, putting the cell phone in the pocket or bag or fastening the cell phone to the waist cannot show the cell phone to the public. It is not cool to hang the cell phone on the neck like a necklace. These conventional cell phone carrying methods cannot satisfy people who wish to flaunt their cell phone on the street. Although having a cell phone is quite common everywhere, flaunting a cell phone in public still attracts many people.

Further, except fastening the cell phone to the waist, the other conventional cell phone carrying methods are not suitable during exercise, for example, jugging or playing a ball game because the cell phone may hinder the performance of the exercise.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

Referring to FIGS. 1˜3, a cell phone carrying bag 10 is shown comprising a bag 1. The bag 1 comprises a bag body 11 adapted to accommodate a cell phone and having a top opening 13 through which a cell phone is put into the inside of the bag body 11, a cover flap 12 extended from the back side of the bag body 11 and having a length sufficient to close the top opening 13 of the bag body 11, two first magnetic members 14 fixedly fastened to the front side of the bag body 11, and two second magnetic members 15 fixedly fastened to the inner side of the cover flap 12 and adapted to attract the first magnetic members 14. By means of magnetic attraction between the first magnetic members 14 and the second magnetic members 15, the cover flap 12 is locked to the bag body 11 in the closed position. Snap, hook and loop materials, or any of a variety of conventional lock means may be used to substitute for the magnetic members 14, 15. Further, the bag body 11 has a plurality of through holes 16 for enabling the antenna of the received cell phone to pass to the outside of the bag body 11 and for the passing of the cable of a battery charger or earphone.

Referring to FIG. 4 and FIGS. 1˜3 again, the cell phone carrying bag 10 further comprises a wrist strap 2, and two finger straps 3, 4. The wrist strap 2 is provided at one side of the bag body 11 of the bag 1, and adapted to fasten the bag 1 to the user's wrist 71 in such a direction that the top opening 13 is aimed at the user when the user turned the arm inwards. The finger straps 3, 4 are provided at one side of the bag body 11 of the bag 1 opposite to the wrist strap 2, and adapted to fasten the bag 1 to the user's fingers, for example, the forefinger 72 and the little finger 73. By means of the wrist strap 2, and two finger straps 3, 4, the bag 1 is firmly secured to the back 74 of the user's hand.

Referring to FIGS. 1˜4 again, the wrist strap 2 is an adjustable strap comprising a strap body 21, which has a plurality of punch holes 22 longitudinally arranged in a line near one end, namely, the rear end thereof, and a buckle 23 provided at one end, namely, the front end of the strap body 21. The buckle 23 is comprised of a frame 24, a tongue 25, and a keeper 26. When in use, the wrist strap 2 is put on the user's wrist, and then the rear end of the strap body 21 is inserted through the frame 24 into the keeper 26, and then the tongue 25 is selectively engaged into one punch hole 22. The finger straps 3, 4 have a respective adjustment frame 31, 41 for adjusting the diameter subject to the sizes of the fingers to fasten.

It is to be understood that simply using the wrist strap 2 and one finger strap 3 or 4 to fasten the bag 1 to the user's hand cannot keep the bag 1 on the user's hand firmly in place. Therefore, the wrist strap 2 and the two finger straps 3, 4 must be fastened to the user's hand to keep the bag 1 in place.

In order to effectively protect the received cell phone, the bag 1 is made of relatively harder material by sewing, for example, leather or similar sheet material. In order to eliminate uncomfortable contact between the bag 1 and the back 74 of the hand, a soft back pad 5 is stitched to the back side of the bag body 11 of the bag 1. Preferably, the wrist strap 2 and the finger straps 3, 4 are directly stitched to the back pad 5.

As indicated above, the invention provides a cell phone carrying bag for fastening to the user's hand to carry a cell phone. The invention has the following advantages:

    • 1. It is easy to access to the received cell phone.
    • 2. It keeps the cell phone far away from the head and other important organs of the body.
    • 3. In case the received cell phone falls to the ground accidentally, the user can easily find the situation and quickly pick up the cell phone.
    • 4. It allows the user to carry the cell phone when exercising.
    • 5. It is cool to carry a cell phone on the fingers.

Although a particular embodiment of the invention has been described in detail for purposes of illustration, various modifications and enhancements may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention.
