BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

This invention relates generally to the field of cleaning and more specifically to an article of manufacture for dusting furniture and delicate displays.

The duster and the vacuum cleaner are existing devices. My invention converts the solid handle of a duster into a hollow one to allow suction of the dust to a vacuum cleaner.

NONE N/A BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The primary object of the invention is To provide an easier way of dusting. A regular duster just transfers the dust from one spot to another.

Another object of the invention is to have clean air to breathe and have a clean house. The dust remains in the room and also on your body and lungs.

Another object of the invention is that the VACTER (the name arrived at by combining the first three letters of a vacuum and the last three letters of the duster) is connected to an existing vacuum cleaner and when dusting with the vacuum cleaner turned on, all the dust is contained.

A further object of the invention is to create a healthy environment. People have less allergy problems.

Yet another object of the invention is to have less lung related sickness. Breathing problems.

Other objects and advantages of the present invention will become apparent from the following descriptions, taken in connection with the accompanying drawings, wherein, by way of illustration and example, an embodiment of the present invention is disclosed.

In accordance with a preferred embodiment of the invention, there is disclosed an article of manufacture for dusting furniture and delicate displays comprising: A regular cloth or feather duster. With a hollow handle, ½ inch in diameter for easy handling. The duster end of the handle is enlarged to ¾ of an inch (like a funnel). Both ends of handle are hollow. A connecting hose with a ½″ opening. The hose would enlarge to about an inch in diameter. Both ends of hose to be flexible so that one end (½″ end) slides over the hollow handle duster, the other end (1″ end) slides over an existing vacuum cleaner hose. The connecting hose will be reinforced by a soft springy coil to prevent it from collapsing. When the vacuum cleaner is turned on with the duster connected, all the dust is contained in the vacuum cleaner rather than moved from one part of the room to another and in your lungs.

It is to be understood that in some instances various aspects of the invention may be shown exaggerated or enlarged to facilitate an understanding of the invention.

FIG. (1) is a plan view of the invention.

FIG. (2) is a perspective view of the invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
