Pet sweat

Abstract

Please acknowledge this patent for the pet carrier sweatshirt, that I call “Pet Sweat”. Because it is a tender loving way to hold and carry your pet many places, with the convenience of having two hands available to do what ever you wish. You can clean your yard, go shopping, and put your groceries away. Talk on the phone, use your computer, get your mail, clean your house, you can go to work at some places that are allowed pets. As a florist designer, I am allowed to take my little Chihuahua dog with me to work and my dog will sit in the sweatshirt pocket while I make flower arrangements, clean the store, and wait on customers, answer the phone, and dust shelves. I believe many people now days are attached to their pets. This new invention will enable the comfort for a pet and pet owner that will be the first loving way to carry a pet in a Fashionable manner with a variety of sweatshirt colors to match your jeans or any other outfit.

This is a continuation Utility Patent filed Jul. 6, 2005 titled, “Pet Sweat,” a pet carrier sweatshirt.

The Pet Carrier is a sweatshirt that has a large pocket on the front of the sweatshirt. The pocket is designed with sweatshirt material and duck cloth material which is similar to canvas material sewed on top of the sweatshirt to make a pocket.

The Pet Carrier is invented for the purpose to carry a dog or cat or any small pet, weighing approximately ten pounds or less. The pet owner can carry the pet and the pet is comfortable in the pocket. The convenience of this carrier permits the owner to carry the pet and leaves the pet owners hands free while the pet is being carried.

In the pocket there is a 36 inch piece of Ribbon or Polypropylene Braided Cord sewed. It is sewed in the middle of the ribbon or braided cord. The purpose is that it ties around the pet's body as a safety feature.

The pet carrier comes with no sleeves, short sleeves and long sleeves.

The pet sweat specification claims a sweatshirt with a hood or without a hood.

Small sizes for girls may or may not include fake fur. Pink or girly colors of fake fur can be added at the neck collar and around the outside of the pocket for decoration. Soft round Pom Poms can be stitched to the end of the ribbon or cord to create a cute look for the girly look. Lace can be added on the sleeve cuff and around the neck as well for a girly look.

BACKGROUUND OF THE INVENTION

Reference to Provisional Patent:

1. My dog wants to be carried, but I need 2 hands to do my work

2. The purpose and advantage is that both hands are free, and your dog or cat is comfortable.

3. Description—A pocket in a sweatshirt for dogs or cats or any small animals under ten pounds of weight.

4. Long Sleeve or short sleeve

5. Ramifications—The pet is comfortable with owner.

6. Tests—The pet has been carried around the house.

When using the Pet Carrier you must stay away from the stove or any hot fire area.

7. The Pet does not want to leave the Pet Carrier comfort.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The Pet Carrier is a convenient way to carry your pet anywhere and have two hands available to do whatever needed.

The Pet is comfortable and happy, and the owner has the confinement of holding the pet taking the pet anywhere; shopping, activities, cleaning. If you have to carry luggage your pet is comfortable tucked safely away in the pet carrier.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The Pet Carrier Sweatshirt or I call the “Pet Sweat” is a convenient easy way to carry a pet in a big pocket. A pocket that is made with cozy and comfortable material as sweatshirt material.

Description Process Step By Step How to Make the Pet Carrier Sweatshirt:

The small dash lines are stitches to be sewed to make the Pet Sweat.

Step 1. Lay sweatshirt down on a table. 3 inches up from the under-arm, lay a piece of Canvas fabric called duck cloth fabric, approximately 12 inches wide and 17 inches long on the sweatshirt front ant than sew the duct cloth on all four sides to sweatshirt front.

Step 2. Face the sweatshirt material to show the inside the sweatshirt pocket.

Lay that piece of sweatshirt material on top of the duck cloth, this piece of sweatshirt material is the same size as the duct cloth previous fabric you sewed to the sweatshirt, approximately 12 inches wide and 17 inches long, and 3 inches up from the under-arm to the length of the sweatshirt bottom sewed. Sew sweatshirt fabric over duct cloth fabric.

Step 3 Take another piece of sweatshirt material the same size and lay it on the sweatshirt material with the front sweatshirt fabric facing the sweatshirt. This will Create the pocket with both the same color of sweatshirt.

Step 4 Sew this sweatshirt material on the top and bottom to the sweatshirt.

Now you will complete the Pet Sweat Carrier “Pet Sweat” by sewing the sweatshirt material to the top of the sweatshirt.

Step 5 Sew the top of the sweatshirt material to the sweatshirt fabric that will be on the front of the sweatshirt. Possible the same color of the sweatshirt. Now sew with the hem tucked inside so no one will see the attached sweatshirt material sewed.

Step 6 Add duck cloth under the top sweatshirt piece, sandwich duck cloth in and sew to into sweatshirt. This process will allow duck cloth to be in front and back of the Pet Sweat for support for the pet.

Step 7 Sew sides of sweatshirt to the sweatshirt itself with a tucked in hem.

Step 8 Sew bottom of front sweatshirt across the sweatshirt. It is preferred to sew into the sweatshirt already put seam to make a professional look. Sew twice for the safety of the pet.

As a result,

the sweatshirt fabric will lay better.

1. I feel because the popularity of small pets and the growing pet industry, it is very important to provide transportation for a pet. I believe my invention the pet carrier sweatshirt, that I call the “Pet Sweat” will be a popular way to carry a pet.

Sweatshirts include with a hood or without a hood, no sleeves or short sleeves or long sleeves for a variety of weather temperatures.
