The present invention relates to an igniter device, and, in particular, to a sort of lighter using inflammable gas as fuel stored in liquidized state.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTIONCurrently, lighters on market include candlelight lighters and windproof lighters. Candlelight lighters usually adopt electrical igniters to lighten the sparkling source, which have higher ignition rate, stable flames, longer flammable time without generating heat to the lighter body, and may be used as illumination device with its higher flame. Nevertheless, such flames are weaker and may be easily affected by the environment of use, thus limiting the scope of application. The windproof lighters as well chiefly adopt electrical igniters to set flame to the sparkling source, enhancing the windproof ability and the speed of setting fire to articles, reducing the vulnerability to environment, making higher-temperature flames for higher-temperature welding and broader scope of use. However, as such a structure of windproof lighters must provide in its combustion system a combustion chamber made of insulation materials so that the electrical igniter may produce directional jumping sparks to lighten the inflammable gas in said combustion chamber, the sparks generated by said electrical igniters may fail to jump directionally (electric leakage) once the insulation materials crack caused by the higher temperature of windproof torch flames. In addition, the wires extend into the combustion chamber may also be very easily burned and melted by the high-temperature windproof torch flame, failing to direct the jumping sparks and to set flames to inflammable gas. Furthermore, also as the wires extend into the combustion chamber, normal formation of flames are affected and the stability and quality of windproof torch flames are degraded, and due to the fact that a certain span must be kept between the wire and the spray nozzle in the combustion chamber for jumping sparks, the rate of ignition of the electrical igniter would be degraded if the span is varied in error.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONOne objective of the present invention is to provide a lighter with changeable flames, combining the advantages of both candlelight lighter and windproof torch lighter. The lighter with changeable flames removes the defect that insulation materials must be provided in the ordinary windproof torch lighter or the structure of directional jump sparks, has greatly enhanced the ignition rate of windproof flames and lifetime of use, and comes up to the windproof and long-time-use requirement.
An other objective of the present invention is to provide a gas flow control switch which makes the candle light flame ignite the inflammable gas in the spray nozzle so as to produce very high ignition rate of windproof flame, and has simple and rational structure with no increase in the size of the lighter, achieving an easy and operable exchange of two types of flames.
Another objective of the present invention is to provide a lighter having a gas diverting passage with a changeable flames, which may produce high-temperature torch flames.

Further, between said candlelight outlet tube and the outlet valve of said container there is also included a fuel gas diverting passage connecting to said candlelight outlet tube and said outlet valve.
Said container also includes a second outlet valve connecting to said candlelight outlet tube. and
-
- a candlelight outlet tube provided between said quick flow nozzle and said electrical igniter, the peripheries of said container includes a housing wherein said gas control switch is fixed and partially extended outside of said housing.
Said gas control switch is fixed in said bracket with a part protruding outside of said bracket;
-
- Wherein: said electrical igniter is an impact-type igniter device or battery-type electrical igniter device. Further, there is a press sleeve provided above said impact-type igniter. Said gas control switch is beneath said press sleeve and in the same operational line of said press sleeve and the impact-type igniter. Said gas control switch is also beneath a power switch which is provided on said battery-type electrical igniter device and in the same operational line of said power switch and the battery-type electrical igniter device.
The lighter with changeable flames according to the present invention, in addition to achieving relatively strong windproof effect, may cause less heat, provides illumination, and produces very strong high-temperature flames by introducing candlelight flames to the fuel gas of the quick flow nozzle, replacing the traditional electronic igniter device whereby sparks are made jumped over to said quick flow nozzle. The present invention has a very high rate of ignition rate with the strong and high-temperature flames, thus greatly prolonging the life time of use of the quick nozzle.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION Referring to
-
- a fuel gas storing container 1 having at least an outlet valve 11 fixed therein, at least a moveable lever 2 for controlling gas supply of said outlet valve 11, a quick flow nozzle 4 connecting to the gas passages of said fuel gas storing container 1 and having a cover 41 provided thereon; and
- a bracket 3 connecting to said container 1 and having fixed therein an electrical igniter device 5 with a wire 51,
- wherein aid quick flow nozzle 4 also includes, at its side, a candlelight flame outlet tube 7 connecting to said container 1. The preferred embodiment is to provide a candlelight flame outlet tube 7 between said quick nozzle 4 and said electrical igniter device 5. Said candlelight flame outlet tube 7 has provided thereon an ignition cavity 71 into which said wire 51 of said electrical ignition device 5 extends, and said ignition cavity 71, connecting to said container 1, functions to make a span between a sparking point of said wire 51 and the mouth of the candlelight flame outlet tube 7 so as to assure the spark jump. The preferred embodiment is: between said outlet tube 7 and said outlet valve 11 of said container 1 there is provided a gas diverting passage 12 which connects to said outlet tube 7 and said valve 11. Said gas diverting passage 12 may be soft elastic tube. Thus, the valve core 110 of said outlet valve 11 connects to said quick flow nozzle 4 and said valve core 110 connects to said candlelight outlet tube 7 via gas diverting passage 12.
Referring to
Said electrical igniter device 5 may be an impact-type igniter device 52 having a press sleeve 54 provided there above. When said housing 6 has its head cover 61 opened, one end of the said head cover 61 makes said moveable lever 2 actuated to lift the valve core 110 in the outlet valve 11, releasing the fuel gas via valve 11. At the time, as the passages of quick flow nozzle 4 for producing quick flow gas are usually made in the form of micro-pores while the passages of candlelight flame outlet tube 7 are of larger through holes, most of the gas released from outlet valve 11 therefore passes through fuel gas diverting passage 12 before entering the candlelight flame outlet tube 7 and is released out from the candlelight flame outlet tube 7. When said press sleeve 54 is pressed down, a piston within said impact electrical igniter device 52 impacts a sparking means, making wire 51 produce sparks towards the mouth of said candlelight flame outlet tube 7 and hence further producing bright candlelight flames by igniting the fuel gas at a pray head of said candlelight flame outlet tube 7. Said flames as thus produced may be used for illumination or ignition to articles.
