Drug representative/utility bag

This utility bag is to be used by pharmaceutical representatives in the field. It is designed to keep all samples and literature organized and easily accessible. The unique lay out of the pockets are to keep specific items used everyday by representatives at hand for quick retrieval. The solid canvas that the bag will be made of will help protect the samples from being damaged by rain. This will also keep samples hidden that may be considered a controlled substance. The retractable handle and folding split bottom will allow for easy set up and storage.

Description

This is a drug representative/utility bag that may be used by pharmaceutical representatives in the field to keep their samples and literature organized and easily accessible. The bag does this by having multiple pockets of varying sizes that can be used to hold such items as pens, pad, detailing literature and detailing binder. The inside of the bag is designed with adjustable dividers. Drug representatives generally carry more than one kind of drug sample. Keeping these divided in the bag keeps the representatives organized and allows them to move at a quicker pace when sampling physicians. Since representatives are outdoors a lot, an umbrella and storage pocket are also provided in the event of inclement weather. There is a key ring attached at the handle for quick storage and retrieval of keys. The bag will have a drawstring closure and lightweight nylon flap with a small business card sized pocket on the underside. The bag is to be made of a durable solid canvas with expandable handle. The bottom of the bag is designed to fold so that the bag may be stored when not in use. There are 2 back wheels for easy mobility and 2 rubber stoppers on the front to help steady the bag for access. There is a rider clip at the top to allow for attaching other bags or totes to ride “piggy-back.” There is also a 10″ hard plastic stint at each corner of the bag to keep the bag more upright. Currently there is nothing on the market specifically designed for drug representatives. Representatives are making due with makeshift bags which are designed for other uses.

The overall dimensions of the bag are 25″ H×15″ W×12″ D. It will be available in 4 colors: black, royal blue, navy blue and red. There are 2½″ stoppers on each side of the bottom front of the bag. There are 5″ wheels on each side of the bottom back of the bag. There is an up to 15″ expandable/retractable handle and key hook attached from the handle for key storage and retrieval.
