Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

This invention relates to a canteen with an additional device for amusement, particularly to one having a canteen body provided additionally at one side with a chamber, a base received in the chamber, a cover body covered on a side of the base, a fixing base under the cover body, at least one bag and at least one press button, a plurality of floats positioned in the space defined between the base and the cover body. After liquid is poured and sealed in the space between the base and the cover body, the press button can be pressed inward to compress the bag to force the liquid in the bag to exhaust out and flow into liquid in the space of the cover body to form water current to actuate the floats in the space in the cover body to turn and float randomly, giving visual pleasure to a user whenever the user wants, thus attaining an effect of amusement. The canteen body has a structure as a conventional canteen for storing drinking water, which can be drunk in a conventional way.

2. Description of the Prior Art

A conventional canteen used for filling drinking water to be carried out for use only has its externals provided with decorative designs for attaining visual impression, but there is hardly any vicissitudes in its structure; therefore, the conventional canteen cannot meet the manifold needs of the users and especially, it can hardly attract and appeal to children. As a result, children are not willing to bring such canteens with them when they go picnic, likely to affect their health without carrying one.

FIG. 7 is a front view of a third preferred embodiment of a canteen with an additional device for amusement in the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

A first preferred embodiment of a canteen with an additional device for amusement in the present invention, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, includes a canteen body 1, a base 2, a transparent cover body 3, a plurality of floats 4, a fixing base 5, at least one bag 6 and at least one press button 7 combined together.

The canteen body 1 has at one side a chamber 10 having its inner circumferential wall bored with plural engage grooves 11.

The base 2 is received in the chamber 10 of the canteen body 1 and provided on one surface with plural projecting members 20 of a nearly U-shape respectively having a recessed groove 21. The base 2 is further provided with a recessed chamber 22 formed in a lower portion.

The transparent cover body 3 to be covered on one surface of the base 2 has its outer circumferential wall provided with plural engage members 30 and its straight bottom bored with at least one water inlet 31.

The floats 4 are positioned freely in the space defined between the cover body 3 and the base 2 before liquid is poured and sealed in the space.

The fixing base 5 is fitted in the recessed chamber 22 of the base 2 and positioned under the cover body 3, having its topside cut with at least one notch 50 and its side wall bored with at least one insert hole 51.

The bag 6 is positioned between the recessed chamber 22 of the base 2 and the fixing base 5, having its upper end formed with a water outlet 60.

The press button 7 is inserted in the insert hole 51 of the fixing base 5.

In assembling, as shown in FIGS. 1 to 4, firstly, the floats 4 can be respectively positioned in the recessed grooves 21 of the projecting members 20 of the fundamental base 2, and then the cover body 3 is combined with the upper portion of the base 2 by means of high frequency welding. Next, liquid is poured into the space between the cover body 3 and the base 2 through the water inlet 31 of the cover body 3, and then the water outlet 60 of the gasbag 6 is fitted with the water inlet 31 of the cover body 3. Subsequently, the press button 7 is inserted in the insert hole 51 of the fixing base 5 from inside and extends out of the outer side of the fixing base 5, and then the fixing base 5 is received in the recessed chamber 22 of the base 2, letting the inner side of the press button 7 closely contact with the bag 6. After the above-mentioned components are combined together, they are firmly received in the chamber 10 of the canteen body 1 by mutual engagement of the engage members 30 on the outer circumferential wall of the cover body 3 and the engage grooves 11 in the inner circumferential wall of the chamber 10, thus finishing assembly of a canteen having function of amusement.

In using, as shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, only press the press button 7 inward to compress the bag 6 and force the liquid in the bag 6 to exhaust out through the water outlet 60 and flow into the cover body 3 through the water inlet 31 to form water current in the cover body 3 so as to actuate the floats 4 therein to turn and float randomly. Thus, controlled pressing of the press button 7 can produce various compressed extents of the bag 6 and water current volume to actuate the floats 4 to float and possibly move into the recessed grooves 21 of the projecting members 20 of the base 2. In reality, pressing of the press button 7 has a function of training the muscular strength and the dexterity of children's fingers, and controlling of the floats 4 to float and move to the recessed grooves 21 of the base 2 can stimulate children's mental capability and elevate their interest in learning. Evidently, apart from storing drinking water for use, the canteen of this invention also has effects of amusement and learning.

A second and a third preferred embodiment of a canteen with an additional device for amusement in the present invention, as shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, are to have a decorative design 8 provided in the space between the base 2 and the cover body 3 and also have the projecting members 20 and the floats 4 changed in various shapes.

While the preferred embodiments of the invention have been described above, it will be recognized and understood that various modifications may be made therein and the appended claims are intended to cover all such modifications that may fall within the spirit and scope of the invention.
