Two-piece curtain

Abstract

The present invention relates to a two-piece curtain, which includes an upper beam; a front curtain cloth and a rear curtain cloth which are separately bonded on or taken apart from the front side and rear side of the upper beam by using a self-bonding means; and plural clamping sheets provided between the front and the rear curtain clothes for their moving together; thereby the both curtain clothes are either moved up/gathered together or moved/hanged down at the same time by pulling or releasing a lanyard.

Description

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1) Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a two-piece curtain, which includes an upper beam, a front curtain cloth and a rear curtain cloth which are separately bonded on or taken apart from the front side and rear side of the upper beam by using a self-bonding means. Plural clamping sheets are provided between the front and the rear curtain clothes for their moving together. Thus the both curtain clothes are either moved up/gathered together or moved/hanged down at the same time by pulling or releasing a lanyard.

2) Description of the Prior Art

Nowadays, the purpose of a curtain is to provide sunshade and privacy functions. As shown in FIG. 1, a conventional curtain 10 (Roman type curtain) comprises an upper beam 11 and a curtain cloth 12 which is connected and fixed with a bottom part of the upper beam 11. One end of the upper beam 11 is connected with a lanyard-actuating element 13. The lanyard-actuating element 13 is useful for passing a lanyard 14 through therein and a pendent end of the lanyard 14 is outside of the curtain cloth 12 for being pulled by a user. Plural transverse sections 15 are sewing sutured on the curtain cloth 12 at equal distance. Two holes 16, 16 are provided in each sewing sutured part of the transverse sections 15 for passing the other end of the lanyard 14 through therein and fixing it on the bottom holes 16. Therefore the curtain cloth 12 could be moved up or down by pulling or releasing the lanyard 14.

Since the curtain cloth 12 will be dirty after using for a long time, it is necessary to take apart the curtain cloth from the upper beam and be washing. During this washing period, it can not provide sunshade and privacy functions. Conventionally, curtain cloth 12 is decided by a user to select its color, pattern or design that favored. Also, a curtain cloth is generally a one-piece cloth hanging on the upper beam 11. Thus, such a conventional curtain lacks of variation and does not conform to the modern requirement for seeking variation.

Under the above circumstances, the present inventors have solved the above disadvantages by the two-piece curtain of the present invention.

The first object of the present invention is to provide a two-piece curtain which comprises an upper beam, a front curtain cloth and a rear curtain cloth being separately bonded on or taken apart from the front side and rear side of the upper beam by using a self-bonding means. Plural clamping sheets are provided between the front and the rear curtain clothes for their moving together. Thus the both curtain clothes are either moved up/gathered together or moved/hanged down at the same time by pulling or releasing a lanyard.

The other object of the present invention is to provide a two-piece curtain in which a front curtain clothes and a rear curtain clothes are separately bonded on or taken apart from the front side and rear side of the upper beam by using a self-bonding means. Therefore the upper beam is provided with a front curtain clothes and a rear curtain clothes at its front and rear sides to increase utility and variation.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Please refer to FIGS. 2, 3, and 4, the two-piece curtain of the present invention comprises an upper beam 20 on which two hangers 21, 21 are provided for hanging the upper beam 20 on a window flame. A front curtain clothes and a rear curtain clothes 30, 30 are separately bonded the upper beam 20 by using a self-bonding means 40 and plural clamping sheets 50 are provided between the front and the rear curtain clothes 30, 30 for their moving together.

The upper beam 20 is provided with a lanyard-actuating element 22 at bottom for passing two lanyards 23, 23 through therein and its one end hangs down for being pulled by a user. The upper beam 20 is provided with two hooks 24, 24 at bottom for passing the other end of the lanyard 23 through therein and hangs down.

The front and the rear curtain clothes 30, 30 are sewing sutured to form plural transverse sections 31 and connection parts 32. A rigid article is inserted into the connection part 32 so that the connection part 32 becomes rigid. The front and the rear curtain clothes 30, 30 are the same or different in color, pattern or design according to the user's favorite to attain various utility and variation.

The self-bonding means 40 comprises a hook tape layer 41 and a loop tape layer 42. The hook taper layer 41 is bonded on the front and rear sides of the upper beam 20 and the loop tape layer 42 is bonded on the top end of the front and rear curtain clothes 30. Therefore the front and rear curtain clothes 30 could be bonded on the upper beam 20 by pressing the loop tape layer 42 on the hook taper layer 41. Further, if a pulling force is applied on either the loop tape layer 42 or the hook tape layer 41, the curtain clothes 30 will be separated/peeled from the upper beam 20.

The clamping sheets 50 comprise a intermediate part 51, a hole 52 on the intermediate connection part 51 for passing the lanyard 23 through therein, and a clamping tank 53 for inserting the connection parts 32 of the transverse sections 31 into the clamping tank 53. The hole 52 is also used for fixing one end of the lanyard on the lowest clamping sheet thereby the plural clamping sheets 50 are moved up or down by pulling or releasing the lanyard. Between the front and the rear curtain clothes 30, 30, there are plural clamping sheets 50. Therefore the both curtain clothes 30, 30 are moved up and gathered together by pulling the lanyard 23 (as shown in FIG. 5) and the both curtain clothes 30, 30 are moved and hanged down by releasing the lanyard 23 (as shown in FIG. 2).

In summary, the two-piece curtain of the present invention is characterized that the front and rear curtain clothes 30,30 are bonded on or taken apart from the upper beam 20 by using a self-bonding means 40. Also, plural clamping sheets 50 are provided between the front and the rear curtain clothes 30, 30 for their moving together. Thus the both curtain clothes 30,30 are either moved up/gathered together or moved/hanged down at the same time by pulling or releasing the lanyard 23.

Although the present invention has been described by the above embodiment, the present invention is not limited by the embodiment. Person skilled in the art would make various changes or modification without departing from the spirit and the scope of the present invention. The present invention is only limited by the appended claims.

Claims

1. A two-piece curtain, comprising:

an upper beam having a front and a rear sides and a bottom, in which a lanyard-actuating element is provided on the bottom thereof for pulling or releasing the lanyard to control the moving distance of the lanyard;

a front and a rear curtain clothes separately bonded on the front and rear sides of the upper beam, wherein each curtain clothes is sewing sutured to form plural transverse sections at equal distance and a rigid connection part is formed between the transverse sections; and

plural clamping sheets having a pair of clamping tanks for connecting both the front and the rear curtain clothes to move together, thereby both the curtain clothes are moved up or down by pulling or releasing the lanyard.

The two-piece curtain according to claim 1, wherein an intermediate connection part is formed between said clamping tanks and a hole is formed on the intermediate connection part for passing the lanyard through therein and for fixing one end of the lanyard on the lowest clamping sheet thereby the plural clamping sheets are moved up or down by pulling or releasing the lanyard.

The two-piece curtain according to claim 1, wherein the curtain further includes a self-bonding means comprising a hook tape layer and a loop tape layer, said hook taper layer is bonded on the front and rear sides of the upper beam and said loop tape layer is bonded on the top end of the front and rear curtain clothes, thereby the curtain clothes could be bonded on or taken from the upper beam.
